  1. If I'm not mistaken, Berrios was pretty bad in ST this year. I read something earlier this spring about him working on a few things in ST...like his arm/launch angle again. He had messed around with that in prior years too. He sure got lit up yesterday. He was bad last season for the Jays too. He's got talent, but I'm glad he's not pitching for us anymore. I never thought he was much more than an average starter.
  2. Agree. Love the pitch clock. The shift restrictions too. As far as the Twins specific items, it's a little too early. So far, so good.
  3. The home plate ump is calling strikes, that are a couple doughnuts wide on either side of the box.
  4. Sorry, didn't see the qualifier. ALL doughnuts.
  5. Somebody order more doughnuts for Kep!
  6. Has to be a record for Rocco. With the exception of Jeffers/Vazquez, isn't this the exact same lineup for the 4th straight game?
  7. No doubt he had a nice game yesterday, but rest assured...he's going to have plenty of games where he takes an O-fer, and whiffs 3 times too. A lot more than the one or two homer games. It'll be feast or famine. Unfortunately, that's what you get with Gallo.
  8. Kepler sure isn't the answer, and Gallo isn't either. I don't really like Buxton at the 1 spot, but he'd be a much better alternative than Kep or Gallo. If Polanco can get back soon, I'd put him at leadoff and see what happens. Julien might be the guy down the road.
  9. Is a 4 run lead gonna be enough?
  10. Just seeing Pagan warm up was enough to scare me.
  11. Looks like we're gonna get to have a Pagan ritual.
  12. Gallo with two homers! One for Ernest and one for Julio.
  13. I'm looking for Ryan to go 6 solid innings, and we score just enough runs to win the game and sweep.
  14. Every time Buxton slides...it's an adventure.
  15. If I woke up in the morning and saw that much white death outside my window, I might hang myself from the nearest tree...if I could find one.
  16. I plead insanity. I met a rather attractive young lady 40 something years ago, who lived in Mn. That's how I ended up in snow blower land.
  17. Not buying it. I'd rather he was on another team. I hope he figures some things out while he's here, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
  18. On a side note...CAN WE STOP WITH THE SNOW ALREADY!!! Another foot of the white death here in Lakeville.
  19. ...and he was fond of saying "up yer nose wit a rubba hose"!
  20. He definitely needs some work on his technique.
