    I would shop Rosario and Kepler and see if I can get some pitching for one of them. Looks like Granite is ready or his chance. You have to trade from surplus and that is the only possible surplus I see right now.

    I do not think the three shortstops mentioned- Beckham, Justin Upton and Matt Bush are all that bad. I wish we had all three of them. Article made them sound like a bust

    What about Sam Dyson - Texas has designated him - Levine should know his character Try some of the starters that are getting shelled- maybe Koehler Miami This problem is disappointing because we had the worst bullpen in the majors last year and really did not do anything to address it.

    trades for players with more than one year of control may make sense. Maybe they can find a salary dump. I doubt that they would or should trade prospects at this point.

    March is too early for negative energy. I am thinking positive. He could be a very good left handed reliever. Rather see him get the innings than Breslow.

    Went to the game today. Agree on Mejia. Hope he gets a rotation spot. Really enjoyed the minor league games. Duffey was sharp for two innings then struggled second time through the order. Seems like a reliever. Are there any minor league games tomorrow?

    Dozier and maybe Santana brings back some young talent. Please move on from Plouffe. If Mauer does not want to waive his no trade just release him. Time to give Vargas and Park the at bats

    I agree with your list but do not think it is long enough. Is Buxton ready for everyday CF. Is Kyle Gibson a reliable major league starter or does he need to pitch for a team that plays defense. Should you tender contracts to Plouffe and Santiago? Many many questions. Thanks for the article no matter how depressing.

    I am not sure why you wouldn't call him up. It is either that or what? Winter Ball? minor leagues are done this weekend. He needs work and I would way rather see him taking AB's than Schafer. I have no problem with this move.

    I agree with brvama. Rob Antony is doing fine on an interim basis. No need to rush.

    I don't see them going for Wieters or Ramos. They would require multi years probably at least four and they would block Turner and Garver. I think it will be Suzuki again and again (probably a two year deal)

    It is very important that Sano is able to play 3rd base. If that happens you could have Mauer, Park and Vargas on the same roster. Could rotate through the two spots and have a bench bat. But if Sano cannot stick at third base, and I don't think that can be determined now, there is a real roster issue. New GM will not resign Plouffe and may try and trade Park or Vargas. I would not trade either one for at least another year. I think both will move forward next year.

    Besides Berrios, Chargois, Polanco I would add Park to the list that I would like back in the majors. Why not have Mauer be a bench bat and pinch hit. Whether we lose 90 or 100 makes no difference. Vargas AND Park need major league at bats and both could out produce Mauer anyway.

    Why not pay whatever it takes to bring in Billy Beane? It would be less than the Twins will be paying Santana, Nolasco, Hughes and possibly Plouffe
