    I will be there March 13-20th. There is a doubleheader on Friday the 16th that I am looking forward to. Hopefully Darvish signs by then. I have gone the last three years looking forward to it.

    I would explore the trade market. Check in on Domingo Santana, Nick Castellanos and Matt Kemp. All poor fielders but right handed hitters with power. All are available. Don't think the price would be that high.

    Thanks for the article and I always root for every player to get their chance at the majors but I have yet to make sense of this move. After we signed three relievers and appear to be trying to win this year I doubt he has much of a chance to see Target field without buying a ticket.

    We needed three bullpen arms. I am glad we have all three. I think we are positioned well for a starter also. Say the Yankees sign Darvish and the Cubs sign Arrieta. There is still Cobb and Lynn and fewer bidders. Why not sign two starters and use Mejia's minor league option until he is needed. He is not a great starter but would be great minor league depth. I am still rooting for Darvish but Twins will be OK either way.

    I would start with Boshers or Kinley. Boshers is 30 years old and will at best be the last man out of someone's bullpen Kinley's chances of making this bullpen have decreased greatly since we have signed three releivers. Boshers now and Kinley when we sign Darvish

    What about the reported 7 year 160 Million offer from the Yankees? True or False Seem like about what it would take to sign him. I thought it would be around $150 million

    What is your guess on the terms? I am hoping minor league contract since 40 man spots are getting scarce since the questionable rule 5 pick

    Have we ever made a good trade with Tampa? Hope we don't over pay for Odorizzi. I do not feel he would be a difference maker.

    Dillon Gee for $13 million is the best case scenerio. But that is how long term pitching contracts often end up

    I have always been a Cabrera fan. Detroit would have to eat a ton of contract but they might. He makes no sense on a rebuilding team.

    I would extend all of the players that you have previewed. My rationale is that some of them will work in the teams favor, some in the players favor, but doing all of them would balance the risk. Extending this core of players two years could give the Twins a chance at a World Series if they continue to improve.I like this core group but the pitching needs more time to develop. We are not going to be able to buy enough pitching. We could use the extra two years to acquire enough pitching. I think we need it.

    I like it Seth. You can wrap that deal up when you join the front office. Since they picked up John Manual I figure you are next. Who follows prospects more than you do?

    If he would sign that deal you outlined the Twins should do it. You can buy three years of free agency now. If you wait until he is a free agent the contract will be much longer. I would sign Sano, Berrios, Rosario, Polanco and Kepler also. Just because you sign for long term does not mean a player could not be traded. In a some situations the cost certainty is a plus and adds value. You could lock up this core for 7 seasons. Go for it.

    I would be very happy with Lynn. I think his second year removed from TJ surgery could be better than this year. And we would take his 2017 season. That would be an improvement. The problem I see is there could be more teams pursuing Lynn than Darvish or Arrieta because of presumed price. I think Lynn will get a very very good contract. I think it will be at least 5 years and closer to 18 million per year.

    This does need to get resolved. I would like to see a three year extension. Once that is secured you could trade Polanco or Gordon for pitching. They are younger, cheaper have more control and may bring back a better pitcher than Dozier if the team we are trading with is rebuilding.

    It was nice this year that the major league team stayed in the race and we have not heard much about the Arizona Fall league. Sounds like a very nice pick for round 32

    To me it is a no brainer - I would bring him back. The team plays hard- never quits. His bullpen usage would be better if he had the Yankees bullpen. Falvine did very little to fix what was an obvious weakness on this team. The Indian left McCallister, Otero and Goody OFF their playoff roster. No room. Compare that to what Molitor had to work with. Twins style is fun to watch. They play hard and aggressive.

    I would also like to see Kinsler return and I think that is realistic. Also need a closer and 1 starter.

    History is repeating itself - 1985 - Royals won world series 1986 - Twins finish last 1987 - Young Twins team wins 85 regular season games and the World Series 2015 - Royals Win World series 2016 - Twins finish last 2017 - If this young Twins team wins ends up with 85 wins then ___________
