    This post just messed up my golf game worse than what it was. My drives go around 220, but 40 yards of that is to the left. If only I could add that on to the end, straight. I lost 17 quarters last night playing. I did get new Hank Haney croc's though.

    One of the finest articles I've seen on TD! The video's make it so easy to see the changes. Just curious as to how you get the insight from Bruno on some of this. Honestly I'm not surprised by anything Sano does, having watched him since he was 16. Only disappointed it took another year with his injury. He takes great pride in both his offense and defense and works very hard to improve both. In time he will surprise some folks with his ability to man 3rd base also.

    I wouldn't bring him up at the expense of losing one of those other guys. However, the front office may feel he deserves a reward for a good season. So is the reward worth almost certainly losing another player? I don't think so, and Berrios wouldn't help the team anyway. Not in relief and probably not starting either. I'd give him a verbal reward, let him know he's in the mix for a starting rotation job next year and tell him I just don't want to lose one of those other players. Everyone is better off that way. He's a smart kid, he'll understand.

    I don't give us much chance of beating either one, but I wouldn't mind sending the Yankees home til spring. Knocking them out would feel pretty sweet.

    Of course you trade him. He was terrible defensively when he started playing 3rd. Morneau was bad at 1st. Sano will learn and his bat will do many wonders.

    If you knew he'd provide offense better than someone here it might be a no brainer, but we don't know he'll be better than Mauer, Roserio, Buxton or Hunter. Let him play out the season in AA and then bring him up when rosters expand.

    May should start in the rotation next season, but he's certainly shown his value in the pen. If need be, plug him back in the pen next year. They tried this with Alex Meyer but the pen hasn't seemed to get him going either. It doesn't work with everyone, obviously. Nolasco shouldn't be around next year and I'll bet Gibson is on the block this off season. Malone probably will be here, and possibly Pelfrey. So that makes the rotation Hughes, Santana, Malone, Pelfrey and May, with Duffey and Berrios as possibilities. That all changes if we're stuck with Nolasco, and either or both of Malone and Pelfrey go. TR has some pondering to do this off season.

    I'd leave them both right where they are. No harm done that way, and we don't need either of them. There's not much time left this season so let them finish off and enter the off season with good vibes and satisfaction of a year well done. And let's not nickname Max. I'd bet he wouldn't care for it and would prefer just Max. Pet name your pets, not people.
