I think it was 8, 6 and 4. Only to add on to that today. I've wasted the last couple nights watching this el foldo act so might forget this is a day game.
Watch all the way thru to the second cut and you can seem him take his eyes off the ball and glance toward home or up the 3rd base line. Clearly he was going home with it.
Our golf sup up here curls and has gone to Worlds the last couple years. Scotland last year and she got to play St Andrews. Russia this year, and came in 3rd. It's a shame we can score all these runs to have Gibson give them back. Sit him down now and we win the bullpen battle.
I was so looking forward to seeing Sano in the bigs since the first day I met him when he was 16 years old. It really hurt when he lost a season, but now he's here and even doing better than I had imagined. Time fly's. He'll be around for a long time and could set some hard to reach records. Seeing this is really satisfying.
If the Twins could go .500 in those 18 games they'd probably pick up 1.5 games and have a dash to the finish in Sept. It's highly unlikely they can split those games though the way they are playing.
If Torii wants to play, then yes, I think we'll sign him. My crystal ball says he stays as an outfield coach/dh bench player leading to a coach the following season.
Plouffe likely brings back the best return and he shouldn't be part of the future, so take someone that has a chance to be here for next 5, 6 years in return. Pelfrey and Nunez probably are both headed somewhere.
1. Playing in AAA has no less wear on his injury than in the majors. Saying that somehow he is less likely to get hurt here, or you can swing softer or something.....bunk. That is bunk. Playing in AAA will have more wear on his injury as he will be making more contact with the ball than he would with the Twins.
