I'm happy with the outcome, and also with the booing. What else would one expect.
  2. Halsey Hall
Well now he's got a break, til Feburary.
  3. Halsey Hall
So when does Torii make his appearance?
  4. Halsey Hall
Probably only 3 guys in the lineup that will be on the team next season. Last chance to see some of these guys. KC needs to win. Good luck to our guys.

    What Chief said!

Will we have any more chicken this season?
  7. Halsey Hall
I just didn't have much confidence in Perkins here. Now we're backs against the wall.
  8. Halsey Hall
Santana needs a crisp first inning to set the pace.
  9. Halsey Hall
This is going to be tense!

I'd go the sausage route, but I'm old school.

Nice job by Gibby, but there goes the goose egg.
  12. Halsey Hall
Gibson has to continue to shut them down and we can play anyone. I'd hold off on the subs til the 7th or 8th.
  13. Halsey Hall
A little Hunter value, with 80 rbi's now.
  14. Halsey Hall
Toast. A loss for either team and they are toast. A split and both are toast.

Nope, being honest. I thought they said 13, but either way he's got to tempt them off the plate with 2 strikes. Like that slider down last night. He's given up some big hits on 0-2 counts. We'll probably need him a couple more times this year so let's hope he's back to first half form.
  16. Halsey Hall
No. And he's looking for trouble throwing 0-2 strikes.

Just a very rainy night up on the shore and I would really like to watch a game tonight. Hope it isn't that bad down in the cities.

He wants to be in the majors and his ship sailed when they hired Molitor. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

That was just what the announcers said as they were going nuts. They've probably never walked back there themselves. It was a blast though, wherever it landed.

Have I mentioned Ploof is really slow.

    "It's Now or Never".

I listened to the game and it was a bit hairy there in the 2nd but DJ got out of it scoreless. A fun game, a loud crowd and a great way to end the season. Kepler's blast landed in the parking lot. Probably the last of Dougie M in the Twins organization.

I'm happy for Max. Great kid, great year and great opportunity.
  24. Halsey Hall
Nope. Did shoot par once this year. Played a 4 man scramble on saturday and our team was 18 under and won by a stroke! Parred the first hole and then 16 birdies and an eagle. Usually 3 poor shots and one good one, and each team got 4' of tape to use to measure to the hole, so if you leave a putt 3 inches short, you use up 3" of tape. It was a blast!

Pelfrey's stuff sans fork ball is good for about three innings, then around the second time through the order, BOOM. Shut out thru 5 innings last time. If you're going to give Nolasco 5 innings, I'd stay with Pelfrey, just give him 5 only.
