  1. Spring training will determine who washes out and who gets another chance; Wallners has shown he should be in AAA, he was a minus 34 runs saved in the outfield; Miranda, if he can learn to not be a minus fielder, may or may not be on the team this year he was a minus 12 runs saved at first and no better at Third. Gordon is a minus runs saved in all positions, not that many errors but like his base running just some absolute dork moves, the return of Go Go Gomez.
  2. It depends on what quality veterans they pick up during the off season; Miranda's fielding is poor, needs time in AAA to learn how to field, Wallner will be in AAA, Celestino need to learn in AAA, while Gordon, has moments of Big League skill and moments of What the hell are you doing.
  3. Sadly Polanco is pretty much the type of infielder many would be happy with , good bat, defense meh.
  4. Ozzie Smith, Derek Jeter and Louis Aparicio did, while Cal Ripken only played there for 15 years.
  5. That is only in your mind, stats. do not agree. IN 59 games Jeffers had 5 passed balls and 16 wild pitches and caught 7 of 31 stealing for 18 percent. In 91 games Sanchez had 4 passed balls 27 wild pitches and caught 14 of 36 stealing for for 28 percent In seven years Sanchez stealing percent has been below average 2 years with the Yankees; Jeferes has never been above average in 3 years. The number of stolen base attempts against Jeffers,, 31 vs 36, shows runners werre not afraid of running against Jeffers
  6. In the picture they look more like British Bobbie helments
  7. Paranoia is running wild in the mind's of some fans.
  8. Sanchez is simply a better catcher than Jeffers, keep him and as I said , if not traded let Jeffers show in spring training he is good enough to not be in AAA.
  9. Ryan Jeffers has shown he belongs in Triple A or another team; keep Sanchez and let Jeffers compete for back-up.
  10. Pitch-framing is a pipe dream that writers created to sound more important.
  11. Haniger for Kepler, a whiffaholi with less fielding skill, my, my, my.
  12. I think it would be a foolish notion, how Twins suffered without Buxton in Center Field was made obvious this year.
  13. Do not put much faith in that list but looking at the litst, scanning thereof is a quick way to get a head ache, quick way to find two Twins is start at the bottom where you find Miranda and Gordon; up higher Cave is ranked above Judge, while former Twin Marwin Gonzalez is close to the top at 12.
  14. The analogy makes no sense, but if you want to compare: In 1994 in 138 Minor league games in A - AA - AAA combined he had 25 errors; as that is just under twice as many games, it would calcualte to a fraction over 12 errors per 70 games.
  15. Well with Mr. Cruz, when he enters the game , play the song Wild Thing, have him throw a few fast balls over and behnd the batter, then hit one after bouncing it in the dirt, and the Twins would have a new weapon to make opposing batters nervous.?
  16. Keep Sanchez and if their is no other choice, Jeffers as a back-up.
  17. Yep in 70 games for Witchta he only had 18 errors at Short Stop, maybe they could trade him with Detroit for Palacios.?
  18. Yes, and if they stink, wait for Larry, Moe and Curly.
  19. IF, that wonderful word IF, que sera, sera.
  20. The best minor leaguers never to enjoy MLB success (msn.com) Here is a site for those who are so enamored with dumping veterans for the latest greatest rookies.
  21. We have wishful thinking players who can play SS; about as far from ready as the Twins are from the World Series.
  22. If they are good enough to be in the majors, permanently, they WILL BE in the majors, other wise, they belong in the minors.
  23. Sanchez is far, far better than Jeffers; put Jeffers back in AAA to learn how to play better or cut him loose. If all three are gone next year, it will be a long sad season.
