    If Larnach and Rooker are the Twins future, the Twins have no future; Spring Training and the Minors are for learning not watch them screw up the regular season.

    Passing on Simmons fielding; he is the best hitting and fielding SS the Twins have had since Leo Cardenas, who had his last great years with the Twins. Simmons had a WAR of 7.9 one year also.

    Well the Twins now have 3 home runs; one from Fisher, Wallner and Martin each. Two rookies and a veteran. Rooker and Larnach are still trying to figure out how to hit the ball, while my man Garlic is also but Cave has rbi already.

    Twins still have a big hole in left field; Larnach is as good a fielder as Sanchez is a catcher, all the other rookies are a crap shoot. With Correa, Twins may win 80 some games but who knows what odd (not good ) move the Twins will make next. (The should never have let Cruz get away.)

    The Twins over the decades have picked up some players that put in pretty much their best year/s in a short time with the Twins, but then that depends on the coaching staff to a great degree. A good one makes them glad to be here.

    Well you can also look at this this way comparing the same three years for Donaldson to Urshela; Donaldson put up these numbers in his mid-thirties; Urshela put up these numbers in his late twenties. Now compare Donaldson numbers in his late twenties to Urshela in his late twenties, this is a losing proposition.

    One of the past three years at Third base he was above average , his 43 gave season. WOW, the one year he played over one hundred games , his range was WAY below league average, just what the Twins need.

    In this case it did mean superior fielding skills to what the Twins had/have.
