  1. If they are optioned they have already taken up a roster spot too long.
  2. He stole 6 bases last year, more than long legged Wallner.
  3. Struggling rookie is not the same as struggling veterans. Rookie may be struggling because he simply does not have the ability, that is what AAA shows.
  4. AA or AAA is for struggling, that is not supposed to be part of a reason a Major League team loses.
  5. I hope he is considered the every day First Baseman to stay away from Kirilloff and Juliens lousy fielding skills. They are not good enough to play every day.
  6. Find a coach that teaches them how to field so they are not a decent bat , but a gaping hole in the defense.
  7. He is a much better First Baseman than Kirilloff, with a 16 percent strike out ratio, compared to Kirilloff's 23 percent. Kirilloff may be sitting on the bench a lot. It will be an interesting Spring Training this year.
  8. That would take care of a new First Baseman!
  9. Runner on third no out, or even one out, a sacrifice fly make a strike out look like a loser.
  10. Duvall is cheaper and simply a much better player.
  11. Twins have had recent years with poor defense; they were lousy. If you want to return to that then , fine, time to trade for Rooker, Cave, Celestino . They will be cheap and the Twins can pick up a Top Rank pitcher , of course he has to not mind a Chinese-Fire-Drill for an outfield.
  12. Minnesota Twins Suddenly Eager to Spend in Free Agency and Falvey is Eyeing Up Outfielders Minnesota Twins Suddenly Eager to Spend in Free Agency and Falvey is Eyeing Up Outfielders (msn.com) Following the departure of longtime 2nd baseman Jorge Polanco on Monday, the Minnesota Twins suddenly find themselves with even more financial flexibility this offseason; $6.5 million to be exact. The Twins have already said they plan to take that money and put it back into the roster. Minnesota Twins looking to spend… on Adam Duvall? According to Dan Hayes (the Athletic), the Twins may be eyeing some free agent names that baseball fans might actually recognize. Among the speculated targets is 35-year-old outfielder, Adam Duvall, and others. Adam Duvall emerges as one of the top free agents this offseason. Despite being 35 years old, his impressive track record includes being a former All-Star (2016) and Gold Glove winner (2021). Last season, he showcased his productivity in 92 games for the Red Sox, tallying 21 home runs, 58 RBIs, and an .834 OPS.....
  13. As they came up together and were mates during their entire pro careers, I do have to agree with that.
  14. The online baseball rags have mentioned Twins interestin Duvall. Excellent Left Fielder and has a good bat, it would not be a bad move.
  15. Just like those who babble trade Buxton, Lewis is never leaving third base.
  16. Only if battling whom ever finishes last in the division for that spot is what the Twins really want.
  17. LOL, yeah who needs the fans when their money is why the team is here -- good grief! OF COURSE, then one hopes they pay little attention to most of the -- can the vets, rookies are a miracle cure, also.
  18. Right now the Twins Front Office are not heading towards a crappy team year-after-year, just a mediocre one.
  19. We won the first post season game in a looooooong time in 2023; I guess we will just have to wait for a loooooong time for it to happen again, now. Gray is gone, Maeda is gone, Polanco is gone; Buxton is healthy, Correa is healthy, that does not make up for lack of pitching or the lack of Polanco's bat.
