  1. Just think of what you would be losing; losing proposition.
  2. I watched very few videos, but this one was one of the few good ones, it told a story without some dude on the screen singing.
  3. Dobbs won games.
  4. Could have, would have, should have -- but didn't. Little difference (with the exception of numbers on a score sheet) between and going 70 yards without scoring and going 17 yards without scoring.
  5. Being great for one team , often, does not carry over to the next.
  6. Moving the offense and losing , makes moving the offense pointless.
  7. Start Dobbs next game; he won 2 game (it would have been 3 had the kicker not missed a short field goal) and was no worse than the other two.
  8. Maybe Dobbs gets the 4th quarter.
  9. He was one of the top three Short Stops the year he was with the Twin; for what ever reason his ability with the bat is what finally failed for him. He was still an amazing Short Stop.
  10. The point of the majors is to win games, not be a little league for rookies not ready for prime time.
  11. It would be fantastic if he could be the next Jimmie Hall or Tony Oliva but not get injured.
  12. His bat went away, odd how that happens, but his fielding was still among the very best in the whole league. With his arm, he should have pitched when the Twins were hopelessly behind.
  13. Andrelton Simmons Retires - MLB Trade Rumors Four-time Gold Glove winner Andrelton Simmons is retiring, his representatives at ISE Baseball announced on Instagram earlier this week. The defensive stalwart last appeared in the majors in July 2022. Simmons was a second-round draftee of the Braves in 2010 out of an Oklahoma junior college. There was some thought he might be better suited as a pitcher at the time thanks to his elite arm strength. Atlanta stuck with him as a shortstop, where prospect evaluators projected Simmons as a plus defender. He exceeded even the loftiest reviews of his glove, quite likely becoming the best defensive infielder of his generation....
  14. OF the gents, Duvall looks the best; not a gaping hole in the Out Field and a pretty good bat.
  15. His numbers at Baseball Ref. show he would be a gaping hole at Center, and not even close to the bat Taylor is. It would never happen.
  16. They may or may not have a noticeable dip, such is life in the sport. If pitchers adapt and adjust to their style faster than they can respond to pitching changes, that could show a true regression. Unless Julien can learn how to hit left hand pitching, he will be a platoon player, always.
  17. Wishful thinking.
  18. There are NO unlucky turn overs; there is faulty or incompetent play..
  19. Sounds just like Dobbs.
  20. Or leave them where they have been for the past 47 years, no better, no worse.
  21. RBI only come in quantity if there is some on base in front of a batter. Not a one man show. His attitude counts greatly.
