    Hicks would be a hole in the outfield; his fielding dropped far worse than his bat.

    Unless he falls apart with the bat like Simmons did, he is NOT going downward and he is too young for that .

    As MLR inferrred, AA is not AAA and AAA is not Major League challenge. Eve some veterans when they have rehab. in AAA do not rip the cover off of the ball, so not great in AAA, may mean not average in the Big Show.

    aI would like to find one of the crystal balls so many here seem to be gazing through. Julien has shown he has large gaps, in his performance; he is below average at Second on his best day., and some here think if he keeps batting agaist pitchers that already own him, he will magically get better, good grief. Polance in 4 seasons at Second is average, not below. Lee is an unknown rookie; could come up and not be below average in any manner, or could be another De La Cruz: come up and looking like the next Joe Mauer , and then quickly fall down to Celestino level. IF, if they would trade both it would be foolish to do so for any pitcher not at leaat at Gray's level, but that will never happen.

    Julien is inferior to Polanco, you got that wrong. Lee could be the next Rooker or Hicks , wow. Oh heck, Kirilloff can replace Vazquez.

    There used to be quite a few print rags that covered baseball (and football) fifty years ago. Knowledge depended on ones willingness to spend a few dollars for information. I got way back then , a weekly rag on the NFL. a huge amount of infornation.

    Lewis is never going into the outfield and hell has frozen if they try Julien out there. Lee is in the Minors and all the wishful thinking does not change that fact he could stay there all year., except for injuries. It is amazing all the infatuation with the Minor League Rookies who have not mastered that much less Major League pitchers who could eat them for dinner.

    It would be absurd to call him a one-hit wonder. Twice All Star, twice Gold Glove, and twice he received MVP votes. Like some players, his ability dropped steeply in a short time.
