    I'd stick to that story also but I would include with these 4 acquisitions that need help , Beauregard should just resign now instead of getting fired , it's a no win situation for Beauregard and the organization to bring in players that are worse than our DFA'd players . . .

    Sorry to say this but wallner is ranked to high , he should of been in the 20th spot ... He looked totally lost at the plate , yes he hit an occasionally homerun with nobody on base ... If some other team came calling with a bullpen offer i would grab it ... His value to the team is as a DH if he can correct his offense deficiencies , his defense has never been great ... Like many of our players , this could be his last chance to prove he belongs in the majors ... A Joey Gallo he's not , Gallo could play defense in right field and first base and we all know how alot of fans thought of Gallo when he played for the twins , they wanted him off the roster half way through the season ...

    First of all I'm old school and don't go into the moneyball analysis ... You make contact or you don't, you make contact and find a hole through the infield or a hit to the grass , you get a good pitch to drive and it may go in the bleachers,.. It's all about selection of what pitch the batter swings at , exit velocity squaring up the ball is nice and forcing the defense to make or not make the play , getting on base with soft contact is fine with me , a Texas leaguer hit is fine with me, getting on base is fine with me because it's the name of the game , I've seen many games where a team doesn't get the ball out of the infield and they score runs in an inning when we think they shouldn't , is there analytics on that ... To many aggressive hitters today that don't have the patience or can't recognize what pitch is being thrown results in alot of outs ... There seems like the batters lack strategy , discipline and adjustments in the game of baseball today ...

    Is kiner Falefa still available , he would have made a better utility infielders... We now have oswaldo' brother who actually had a better career than oswaldo ..

    As of now i think falvey is sticking with his statement from the general managers meetings , ( we will see our homegrown players in the bullpen , Festa, raya , Prielipp , Morris and anyone that doesn't hold a starters role ), will he add a veteran , he should ( someone like coloumbe as a veteran )... He will be adding pitchers to the minor league to bolster the depth in AAA, because if we use our pitching pipeline for the bullpen this season we won't have much for depth ... Any word on Canterino ???

    It's confusing to say the least , how they continue to carry other DFA candidates and end up DFAing Fritzgerald who we know is a good defensive player , we add a bat but not above average in fielding , another DH type ... Just another trade that doesn't point the needle in the right direction other than a bench player ... Why can't we find a player that can hit and play defense , oh that's right , we dont pay enough ... I didnt read or I missed it , does he have options available yet ???

    Their plan , it's always their plan , for once i would wish for them to listen to the fans plan ... Construct a consistent team capable to contend for a world series , window was open in 2023 and the pohlads slammed the window shut , no wonder why the fans are frustrated and have no love for the pohlads ... Falvey is no better , the 40 man roster has plenty of AAAA players on it and he won't move on from them even if we have players the could replace them and improve the team , falvey signs a 1st baseman every year or a veteran that's just plain unusable but they keep him playing them ... Falvey found his acorn last offseason ,,France, Bader and coloumbe were his best crop of free agents he has signed ... Will Bell perform on offense , let's hope but he isn't going to win a gold glove ... Still 6 weeks to go as spring training starts alittle earlier this year because of World baseball ...

    Thanks for the list of players in the minor leagues , some i wasn't sure were in the system any longer ... Winokur isn't rated as a prospect anymore or was that just overlooked ... Surplus of outfielders , I'm not going to name names but someone needs to go ( it wouldn't do any good , falveywould do the opposite ), we addressed 1st base for another year , we have to address the lineup and defense ... Sure hope Sheldon can work sone magic a make this team exciting to watch ..... ...

    I hope the new year will bring more substantial articles to read ... It falls on the owners and FO shoulders that there is no excitement as of yet to even be considered in contention ... I may believe we have decent pitching and can fill some positions in the bullpen but trotting out a lineup that can't score runs with no outs and runners on third and can't even hit a sacrifice fly ... The recipe has to change , discipline , adjustments in situational hitting ... The mental toughness just isn't there to succeed and the players need to go out and find it ..,

    Can the twins compete , be competitive or contend ... As of now the twins haven't the roster to do any of the above mentioned , so we'll finish right where we left off in 2025 , unless we have breakout season from players that want to, as they work through the winter to better themselves ... I think we can better ourselves over the white Sox but that's the race we will be in as of now unless we add a significant bat or 2 and maybe a reliable relief pitcher , the youngsters are going to get there chance in the bullpen this year ....

    Is Sabato still in the system , just checking ... We need hitters that can hit and get on base , get crucial hits in a crucial moment to drive in runs , the homeruns will come but the players have proven they cant hit those in a pressure situation , this lineup has failed the past 2 seasons ... Let's hope there is some help coming from our prospects to help it be a more exciting game ... Keaschall helped spark the lineup in 2025 , who will it be this up coming season ???

    There's been lots of trades , good ones , let's not forget that the twins re-acquired smalley from the white Sox and Blyleven from Cleveland a year or two before 1987 championship year , we definitely needed Blyleven cause all we had was straker as the third starter... Gladden too at the beginning of 1987 was acquired , Baylor a late add , so many helped us win that world series , yes we got lucky with only Viola and Blyleven but as they say a win is a win ...

    I've never seen this written before ... The twins are adamant about 2026 being a season of developmental emphasis and roster evaluation ... From what I have heard from the FO is the twins believe their players are capable of winning the the division ... As of now i wish it was possible , but running the same player's out for the third season in arow with basically the same lineup it just doesn't seem possible ... These players need a break out season and I hope they are late bloomers ... New manager is going to help with a different approach to the game , it should help bring exciting and fun baseball to the players ...

    I was a cuddyer fan , yes he was a late bloomer but every year he just kept getting better and better , loved his arm , played average defense at each position , he kept hitting and finally won a batting title as a rocky ( yes it was coors field but contact does weird things ) ... Cuddy was a great teammate and clubhouse guy , always free to giving advice and instructions to young players ... Killebrew is mr twin , but had cuddyer stayed with the twins he definitely would have come close to killer ... Cuddyer was great to the fans , top notch guy ...

    A great rendition of a Christmas carol ... the past few years have sucked , present looks dreary , the future looks alittle better if falvey wasn't meddling with the baseball operations and lying to his bosses that we are good enough to win the weak central division, couldn't do it in 2024-25 , I would like to win it in 2026 but as of now it doesn't look promising enough ... New year is right around the corner ... Let's get some decent hitters that also can play defense , as most fans agree we have to many DH's and we don't need more ... Let do the right thing for the fans ...

    I'm getting alittle tired of reading about we shoulda, woulda , coulda articles ... Trade all the twins daily writers named Cody and see what we get in return , same old crap different day ... We have 2 more months to establish a team and I'm just going to wait and see what develops , can we put together a winning team , YES , can we put together a contending team, I DONT THINK SO ... Every year the twins construct a team to win enough games to draw interest to the fans to fill the seats, nothing has changed yet over the years , will this be the year Tom terrific changes the formula, it would be nice to be a solid contender ... Speculate all you want on trading Ober but he has no current value to trade for a useful return , he's just better off with the twins and if healthy can rebound from his 2025 season ...
