    Played 500 ball for the week , starting pitching is still our strength , bullpen wasn't as bad this week , still there are a couple bullpen arms that should not be here ... Hitting , twins were getting plenty of hits ( not the crummy 3 hit games , but 8 to 10 hits ) , the hits just weren't coming in the opportune time to score runners in scoring position with less than 2 outs , strikeouts at times are a problem , would like to see more aggressiveness in bunting , stealing , ball contact , hitting behind the runner , hitting to opposite field ... Royce Lewis needs to make adjustments and that is hitting the ball to all fields , he's pulling everything , popping up or striking out ( cant catch up to a fastball ) ... a talented player like Lewis once was , and can be again if he was hitting successfully to all fields , low and away he is reaching for the pitch when he should be hitting to the opposite field where it's pitched ...

    I'm not sure salvaged is the right word for the series ... We were hoodwinked by the umpires on Friday night that resulted in a loss , a game the twins should of won ... Didn't catch much of the game today as graduations are common for awhile ... Nice to see the twins win and not manage to get swept , box score shows 6 hits and 5 runs , just enough but another 1 run game against Milwaukee that turned out a win for the twins ... Bullpen did its job through 8 inning and our ancient 39 year old veteran managed to keep us on the edge of our seats , I did see the ninth inning , Garcia with the save ( he is one of a few candidates to be DFA'd and nobodywould miss him )... Haven't heard any thing on the opt out deadline Bowman has today , he's earned the chance to get promoted , should be a ticket up from Garcia ...

    Royce had a chan e with 10 pitches , percentage goes up with that many pitches ,that's how bad royce is ... So sad ...

    A productive hitter that has rbi's is most likely to get a good salary like a homerun player does , a good productive hitter gets the rbi's in the clutch , some people think that rbi's spread out between the team is a good thing , id rather have a player have over 100 rbis , than I would say that hitter is a productive player to the team ... We haven't had a 100 rbi or 100 runs scored by a player for quite sometime , was 2019 the last year ??? Those stats matter to me as much as OBP and OPS , we can't keep having a bulk of the players strikeout more than a 100 times a year , that is just not productive especially 3 in arow with runners in scoring position ......

    Zebby pitched a good game , what he needs is to be more consistent from start to is start ... Cold weather could of been a problem to his starts with St. Paul but spring training was warm weather and he didn't pitch all that well to make the club ... Has zebby made the adjustments to major leagues hitters , let's not get to ahead of ourselves after 1 start and lets hope so when he competes against a better team of hitters than Miami ...

    We lost a game we should have won in front of a large crowd of Milwaukee fans ... Bad defense , bad offense and bad mental mistakes ... Prielipp has pitched solidly in his starts since his debut , going to like watching the lefthander pitch as he refines his command ... Pitching is definitely our strength , offense sucks and chokes with runners on base , even the homeruns come mostly with no one on base ... Just not a clutch hitting team , the team should be pissed and show some emotions today , ( a killer instinct would be nice ) ...

    What will it take for the twins to activate Arcia ? A smart organization ... Arcia appears to have earned a chance to play , we have current rostered players that need a reset at AAA , wouldn't hurt to at least give the veteran Arcia a chance to make the defense and offense better ... Changes should be made after this series with Milwaukee , Bowman and brebbie have opt outs on Sunday so that is the day or Monday for a some changes to be made ... shake the roster up some and remind some of these underperforming players that there are other players that are hungry for your job ...

    You really can't blame the pitching , the hitting was subpar for twins hitters but that too wasn't the real outcome of the game ... Blame it on the officiating of 4 umpires that want to show that they are still in charge of the game ... Obstruction blocking third base , I guess you watch the games long enough your going to see things you never saw before ... Ryan did his magic , It was a good twins game until it wasn't ...

    Though I'd like them to use our young prospects but they first have to get past this weekend ... There are 2 veterans Bowman and ??? ( in other words , i cant remember ) , they both have opt outs on Sunday the 17th if not selected to the twins roster ... Bowman having pitched well with st Paul saints will definitely use his option to force the twins to either put him on the roster or release him to free agency , the other ??? Is not having a good campaign to really opt out ut you never know , he may want a changein scenery ... They could be free agents after Sunday , if so then we can start focusing our attention on our young AA and AAA player's ...

    I'm okay with Prielipp getting extra days off , even skip a turn or if we had enough starters go to a 6 man rotation , we don't have enough pitching to do that and we definitely don't have enough good bullpen arms ... Prielipp has performed quite well in his small sample of 4 starts , looking forward to his tonight's starts ... It's nice to have a lefthanded starter in the rotation ...

    Wallner ; The eye test tells me everything I need to know , not a good fielder and he's lost at the plate ... If he returns to at least an average hitter to the twins it should be as a DH ... SWR is off to a terrible start and again my eyes tell me this , hes never been a pitcher that pitches more than 5 innings and this year it's less ... SWR will be in the starting rotation a few more turns and then fill in the blank ______ , he's out of options , no value in a trade ...

    A Good afternoon get away day game ... Can't make this up , zebby was summoned from St Paul , he made his first appearance of the season and he pitched a very good game , 7 shutout innings and he probably could of gone longer ... The bats came alive and delivered clutch hitting after the first inning ... Outman had his best game this season , Austin Martin continues to shine an̈d I'd like it if they leave him at the top of batting order ...
