    Classic case of the butterfly effect, Pelfry is so upset about the call on Mauer he can't pitch. This is all on the home umpire. Or maybe Pelf just sucks!

    Rule 7.13 •Unless the catcher is in possession of the ball, the catcher cannot block the pathway of the runner as he is attempting to score. If, in the judgment of the Umpire, the catcher, without possession of the ball, blocks the pathway of the runner, the Umpire shall call or signal the runner safe. It certainly looked like the catcher had the ball before Mauer made contact, imo.

    Yep need Fryer up so they can use Hermann as a pinch swinger and still have a spare catcher. On a serious note if Hermann ever pinch swings again someone needs to be fired.

    I just think saying the Twins wouldn't give up Gibson for Tulo is mis-informed and using a small piece of information to make assumption you couldn't possibly know the answer to. Being misinformed and not knowing what we're talking about has never stopped any of us before.
