Nobody watches a game to see the owner sit in his private box. The players are the game so I don't get people complaining about them getting paid. It's a very small percentage of players that do get PAID well. It's very difficult to be a major league player and even harder to be a very good one. The people that own teams don't need more money, to most it's a hobby. I hope I never complain about players getting paid.

I think I'd rather have Kepler in Center instead of Cave.

Grossman batting 4th again.... I just don't get the Molitor love for this guy.

Sign Jose Iglesias he isn't Simmons but he'd likely be less money and no prospects given up. He's a very good defender a little light with the bat but would improve the infield.

Can we please put Grossman on the bench and find a young possible prospect to play?

Good game for Belisle to work on the new and improved arm slot.

As young and as good as the Astros, Yanks and Sox are the Twins are gonna need a serious influx of talent to break into that group.

Probably time for a new younger manager. I'm not sure Mollie is a bad manager but I don't think he's a good one. His results have been bad and /or just barely mediocre. When your best is mediocre it's time for a change.

Twins need a SS move Polanco to 2B. Love our building block Grossman hitting cleanup. At least he got his ops out of the .600's this past week.

I think baseball only uses unwritten rules.

Maybe the hope is nobody is paying attention?

There are some mysteries in the universe that will never be answered.
  13. Winston Smith
If it's so easy why do we get to watch Grossman all year with his low .700 something ops?

Catfish Hunter pitched a perfect game against the Twins back when I was much younger.

And the Twins haven't won a playoff game since 2004.

I can recall the day that Chief got his first feather. Everyone was so proud and could tell one day he'd be the Chief. The smoke signals (blogs used smoke signals back then) went crazy that day.

What makes you think Belisle won't be back?

Dozier is hitting (or not hitting) .088 the last 2 weeks. Interesting to see what kind of contract he gets this winter, he sure has fallen off a cliff.

I'm old enough to remember when you needed an opener to get beer out of the can.

Jose Iglesias is 29 and according to fan graphs is the 3rd best defensive SS in MLB.

Glad to see Grossman get his at bats every day. Big part of next years team, one of the building blocks.
  22. Winston Smith
I don't see the Twins on there...
  23. Winston Smith
Is it time to start one of these on who could be the next manager IF (that's a big if) Molly is fired?
  24. Winston Smith
Belisle, Field and Grossman, building blocks for next year.
  25. Winston Smith
You just figure that out tonight?
