    My question is what are the chances of Baker making any ML starts prior to around June 1 next year? Why would you tie up payroll and a 40 man spot on a guy you really don't know if he'll ever be the same? Isn't it more likely some team signs Baker to a make good contract in the spring after he has had time to throw and show what he has?

    No playoff wins since 2004, 99 loss season last year, 14 gms under this year and the feeling from a lot of people is things are ok, a bandaid hear and there we'll be ok? I can't help be a lot depressed.

    Blackburn???? How much would we have to pay for somebody to take him? I don't see how trading in the division is even a factor at this time of year when he is a free agent after the season. Do people really think he could come back to ruin our season?

    Could be the White Sox are looking at Garza and the Cubs are scouting the Sox. Unless of course the Twins may want to bring Garza back home, seems likely doesn't it? I bet you'll see a bunch of scouts at nearly every game this time of year.

    A lot of stuff going on and players moving around the last few days. I'm starting to think Ryan will overplay his hand the only deals done will be minor like maybe Carroll. With his age and contract that may make it a salary dump with a real low prospect coming back. Really my question is are they ready to rebuild or are they still thinking after over 1 1/2 in last place that this isn't a bad team, just an unlucky one. I just don't see a solid plan on what to do next.

    "Twins are asking too much" I would hope that TR would start high. Weed out the tire kickers and get to serious business. With so few real assets he better get good return. We need a serious talent up grade!
