    David Wright is having health issues again and Duda is out for a couple months so trading Plouffe to the Mets makes real sense. Terry get it done you need to start fixing this messy roster, imo.

    A Catch 22! If they play better Terry will again see them as part of solution remember the Plouffe led the team in RBI comment so why trade him comment last winter? If they continue to play poorly he'll have the nobody wants to give up anything of value for our bad players excuse. Sorry I just don't have any faith in Terry fixing this mess.

    I think Plouffe would be a good fit for the Mets. They need a 1B and their 3B is made of glass. My guess is Terry would hold out for Wheeler.

    I know everyone likes Bruno but IMO it's time to send him on a paid summer vacation. Whatever he is doing isn't working and you have to start somewhere. Find somebody to give this team a kick in the butt, not Vavra by the way. Only thing is whoever you replace him with make sure he has long standing ties to the Twins, we would never want an outsider.

    Maybe it's time for a change in trying to hit coach. A new approach certainly couldn't hurt at this point. Home runs are fun but swinging for the fences all the time doesn't seem to be working.

    I don't think it was the reason he was sent down but it just happened to be the last in a long string of goof ups. He certainly deserved to be sent down some time ago. I think they just didn't have anyone to replace him until Terry worked his magic and signed Grossman. I think the Molitor reaction was more him being really tired of his team sucking.

    I was just thinking it could be time to sign Punto for the rest of the season. Retire as a Twin, first base retired in stead of his number.

    I don't see how youth can be blamed for what we've seen this year. Maybe it's an easy excuse but that's all it is an excuse for failure. The reality, at least in my mind, is a lot of these guys just aren't consistently good. They can look good in a SSS but over time they can't maintain it. At this point these guys need to "prove it" and if they can't we are in for a long and sad period of at best mediocrity.
