  1. Your knowledge of what happened with the Twins television contract is so lacking that II gave you an idea where to start to learn something.
  2. Learn about the bankruptcy process and then try again to tell people what they should or should not have done
  3. It is really hard for the Twins to manage someone else’s broadcast business.
  4. How hungry is Houston to win a championship and do they think Correa is a missing piece to accomplish that will determine if a trade gets made. The desperate for a championship team is always the best trade partner
  5. It will take a couple of seasons to find out what they have in Tait. The rush to judge will always be an unwise thing to do.
  6. True, but the 10 million option is probably about a million and a half more than what he would get and less than what it would cost to replace him with someone better
  7. The Buxton injury is the reminder that the Twins do need a competent backup centerfielder. The 10 million option is not that far off from what a 32 year old outfielder would get. The Twins might have a higher asking price for Bader as they do need him next year. While the Yankees and Mets have an alleged interest, he played for both teams at not a high level. I don’t think their memories are that short
  8. To think the Twins were going to get anything more than a lottery ticket despite multiple teams being interested is foolish. There is very little difference in somebodies low ranked prospects. That they got a complex level prospect that ends up ranked by MLB baseball, as the number 20 prospect would say that it was as good of deal as the team was going to get.
  9. Ohl is getting his chance. With an over 6 ERA, Raya is not close to ready. Prielipp in AA is not ready Long relievers do not exist in part due to the shortage of starters. If their stuff as a starter isn’t good enough, the same stuff won’t work as a reliever. Conversion to a short reliever then happens. If increasing speed does not work, they are not major league pitchers
  10. Bullpen games become a necessity when minor league starters do not develop. Adams, Morris and Lewis took a step back rather than forward hence there is a need for bullpen games.
  11. The Twins have not been amongst the healthier teams the last two years. The are in the middle. Injuries do have an effect on team performance. Atlanta losing their starting rotation is probably the best example. The Dodgers are not the best team i baseball with so man of their starters out. The Yankees are a wild card team with Cole being out. No team is so deep that having the frontline players injured does not affect them.
  12. Yup Nick nailed it when he said that they can’t blame injuries., People must believe it did not matter the least bit that the ace of the pitching staff has been on the 60 day IL, the touted on these pages as a Cy Young candidate pitcher is also on the IL, because the next 2 men up Festa and Mathews are going to be stars an uninjured.
  13. A contending team will want him because this tear he gets people out. Most trades it requires diligence by the sellers to get as useful of player as possible. The trades involving the Baders, Coulombes and Stewarts the team has to see a delopble skill the others missed
  14. Zach Neto is the only position player in that draft’s first 2 rounds to have a double digit B war Roman Anthony was taken late in the second round. That was 44 position players after him. Trying to project players they can only judge by the talent level the have played against. Projecting the future is a guess.
  15. When asked what Houston told him to make him to make him better Ran stated nothing different than what the Twins were telling me
  16. You overlook that maybe the talent wasn’t there to be developed. Drafting is a crapshoot. Who did this regime miss out on that was obvious
  17. Correa is soon to be 31. With middle infielders it seems that is whe some start the decline. The other possibility is he is plying through something minor that is hampering him. The other real possibility is he needs glasses
  18. 2019 playoffs, Ryan would have been set up to Rogers. The games were lost long before they were needed.
  19. The prospect in a return for Larnach would depend on the skill of the scouts to identify a talented player that the other team does not seem to recognize. Larnach has been a just above replacement level player. Mabe in a different system he would make that final development, but the team is more likely to to get a Dietrich Enns than a Joe Ryan
  20. It is incompetent to think a contending team is going to remove someone from their every day lineup to trade for their bullpen. That's counter-productive. If they are demanding that in trades....they are absolutely incompetent. those were your words that you are now saying you never said
  21. I did not say to do nothing. Try again without inventing a position for me. The goal of trades is to get an impact bat. That is something that you derived them for. The trade Milwaukee made for Contreras and the Rays for Arozerena show that it can be done.
