  1. My prediction: When Kepler, Polanco, and Lewis rejoin the team Castro will be back on the bench. But he will be on the Twins bench and not the Saints.
  2. So, Thor zaps Iron Man with lightning; Jarvis tells Stark the suit is at 400% capacity. Stuff happens.
  3. I’m a huge fan of i myself.
  4. Letters, numbers, same-same. We call it algebra.
  5. If he doesn’t get recalled on the 29th, won’t he then have to be optioned and down for 10 days? Barring the inevitable injury, of course.
  6. Why is that? Do any posts produce the apparently desired changes? Unless the desired change is to affect the mood of the reader. Apathy, or more correctly, active avoidance, may be the healthiest response. ’It hurts when I do this.’ ’So, don’t do that.’
  7. Most every management/executive team I’ve seen in many industries has had difficulty admitting they are wrong. I assume it’s a requirement in business management school.
  8. I think we can safely say it was a team effort.
  9. Castro has been a big surprise to me. I’d keep him on the 26 if I can.
  10. If they listen to fan’s opinions on running the team, they’re fools. I don’t think they are fools. Having said that, Lewis likely will follow a trajectory similar to Kiriloff. He’s optioned when he comes off the 60 day, and is called up shortly thereafter.
  11. Two lefty starters expected in Anaheim.
  12. In 87 there were basically two trusted relievers: Reardon and Berenguer. In 91 there were basically two trusted relievers: Aguilera and Willis. Pretty much the rest were cobbled together. It happens; sometimes it works. Of course, most times it doesn’t. And teams didn’t lean on the bullpen as heavily as they do now. I’d still estimate 3-4 is the best one can expect.
  13. The way the carousel has spun with the bullpen, the odds seem pretty good he’ll debut in the long-medium reliever role at some point.
  14. Eagerly awaiting the arrival of a productive Royce Lewis.
  15. I’d be fine simply rotating them every game. Some of the starting pitches may have a preference and that can be honored, when feasible.
  16. One can regret bad decisions. One can also get over them and move on (most times.)
