    Can’t play CF during the season but slots right in for the all star game. Terrible look. He needs to rest and show what matters most. Guess the all star game is more important

    That 2-1 swing was wild. No control at all, trying to hit it Adam Dunn length. He was so strong using the entire field last year and he’s just become boring to watch. I hope he doesn’t play in the all star game and can get some rest to clear his head

    I really disagree with the "this isn't a great team". The rotation and hitting did what they needed to to go 8-0 vs Cleveland. The bullpen, the cheapest thing to build was the only factor in all 5 losses. Falvey and Levine have consistently ignored the bullpen since arriving here. I would have faith in any other GM to fix this, but I don't have faith in them. It seems more and more that they didn't anticipate actually winning this year and were banking on getting a huge prospect haul from Correa at midseason.

    Literally should have an 11 game lead over cleveland. Every single game they led late and had 82-98% win chances.

    Another bullpen meltdown? It’s been pagan every damn time. Twins more interested in making friends and being a safe place than winning actual games. Rocco promotes analytics but ignores them every time they don’t fit his narrative. He’s a horrible manager and holding this team back. Falvey relishes on the opportunity to do more with less even though he’s failed more often than not. He just won’t admit when it’s time to re-evaluate and re-tool. Bullpen is so cheap to upgrade and he is stubborn.

    I also believe Smeltzer could have and should have gone another inning, but Rocco’s main goal is getting relievers confidence back whatever the cost to the team.

    Assuming they lose, pagan will be mostly responsible for all 3 losses to Cleveland this past week.

    As many twins writers have noted, it wouldn’t take much to improve the bullpen considerably. Every team in rebuild has multiple guys that the twins could get without having to give up much in terms of prospects. But keep trying with Pagan and Duffey. I’m sure they’ll figure it out ?

    Someone has to teach Bremer what "down the middle" vs painting the black is. I'm sick of seeing Twins pitchers with amazing pitches clipping the edge and Bremer going "and he takes a fastball down the middle for strike 3" He painted the black and Bremer acted like the hitter closed his eyes.

    What's the deal with Miranda, Rocco? Went from top 100 prospect to benchwarmer in 2 months so that Gary and Gio can play every day.

    Rockies are among the worst teams in baseball away from their insane home field advantage. Absolutely embarrassing loss. Free fall doesn’t seem like it’s ending anytime soon.

    I can’t believe I’m saying this but why are we removing Bundy for Duffey? at 60 pitches!?!?!!?

    This happens often when players get their huge contract. MLB deals are all guaranteed. He worked his butt off to get where he is now and get that huge contract. Is he working as hard as he did before the deal? Who knows. Maybe it is just a bad first half, but you can't assume everyone wants to win a championship the same amount. Money is more important to some. Once again, not accusing him of anything, but it wouldn't be the first time in history someone secured their bag and took it a little easy.

    Concur. Might be able to get a nice bullpen piece for him and a low minors flyer. The biggest issue I see here is teams making trades at the deadline are looking to add or subtract major leauge talent. It's very rare you see a team add to one part of the team while subtracting from the other. It's rare to see two teams all in trading with each other at the deadline. If the Twins are in and trading for pitching help, a guy like Gio is either a throw in for salary reasons or not traded at all.
