  1. I thought I remembered either Elsbury or Buckoltz. Was hoping to get one of those. I definitely do not remember the Dodgers offer as listed above. But definitely goes to show us prospects are just that...prospects.
  2. Also to add. Access to players and practices last year was so minimal. Ropped off. I understand the reason, just changes it. No bats or balls or autographs.
  3. Purchased them the day they went on sale, out of blind hope I guess. I wanted my favorite seats and it was going to by my wife's first trip there. I've always gone myself then past few years medicals stopped her, and she is better now and realized life is to short and wanted to go watch me watch baseball. As she hears the excitement and stories of my trip..lol. Ya still going to go watch the minors..usually my favorite part anyway, just really wanted her to have the full experience. I wish MLB new they had fans like you and me. Grown up a Twins Fan because my tee ball team won the championship at age 5. From Ohio and in South Carolina now. But once a Twins Fan, always a Twins fan.
  4. Lot of money wasted on planning the spring training trip. This just sucks.
  5. Yes, same here...plus all new merch every year. I've made some good friends with a few of the minor league coaches, so I may go to visit them and watch non roster players...But won't be the same. Maybe we get tickets refunded? Not to mention it's my favorite trip every year. Going to hurt me, giving up hope .
  6. I wish the best for Max. I do agree he is who he is. I recall so many articles stating once his BABIP headed more towards the meen..look out. Many times described as "unlucky" on his batted balls. Would love to see him adjust.
  7. I was responding to your statement that said Celestino would start more games in center over Buxton by a big margin. I understand he has only averaged 70 per. But I still take the over of 81 for Buxton. Friendly wager coming possibly?
  8. I would bet just about anything that Buxton will play start and play more games in CF than Celestino. Care to wager?
  9. Those 4 will HOPEFULLY be better than Odo. Unfortunately starting rotations need more than the 4 starters you named above. As stated above, we need 8+, especially if the top 4 have not pitched more than 200 mlb innings....combined
  10. Willie Banks and Pat Mahomes. I remember being so excited for Marty Cordova...ug
  11. When has he ever been even close to our 9th. 8th, or even 7th best offensive player? What stats or metrics are you using to grade him this low? I'm guessing if his career numbers put him as our 8th best batter we would have one heck of a lineup.
  12. So many bad comparisons and talking in circles here. Thanks for nothing.
  13. I'm all for a Story signing. I am worried some about the home/road splits.
  14. Very well stated. "PO'd sums up my feelings as well. I don't understand not beating the offer from Stroman and or Ray. Other than Rodon....who is left? Bundy should be a flyer pick up, nothing more than a number 3. Where the heck are we going to get our top starters from? Very frustrating is right.
  15. I have to ask, why would you rather have Bundy than Ray, Stromen, or Gausmen? Honestly. Why?
  16. Sooooooooo, basically the same lineup many want for 2022?
  17. Yes they are having instructs camp this year. I truly hope your broken heart has healed buddy.
  18. I honestly believe our best options for relievers is to develop them in house. I'd rather trade for, or pay for top end starters. But so many good closers/relievers are converted or non successful starters. We have witnessed this from our own team in the past few years. Maybe a couple of our minor league starters whom can not handle a full seasons workload could become high end relievers soon.
  19. Why are we targeting staters who had averaged 2-3.5 fwar in 2020? Then you say to exclude the 2020 season of DeSclafini? Not sure if it's a typo?
  20. Thankyou for all the info Seth. Always looking forward to your insights to our future Twins hopefuls and players.
