  1. Well said and overlooked. So many on here like to kick him because he hated losing. Don't understand how many have blamed for last years mess. It's like posters read other comments and just say oh...that makes sence. Or I read it somewhere so it bust be true. Lol
  2. So if we were to add Donaldson in some hypothetical addition, we would not be as good or much worse? Trying to understand this.
  3. We also got rid of Berrios and Cruz. Our record improved after those trades. See what I did there? Also yankees got better by adding Donaldson. This addition and subtraction doesn't equal out.
  4. Great call out to Austin Shulfer. A terrific young man and seems to be putting it together since being moved to a bullpen and closer role.
  5. Congratulations. Great news for this young man. Thanks Ted for the info.
  6. Well I hope you don't know him intimately. But even if you do, no real need to call him a cancer...or anybody else for that matter. Now as for douchey....... I wonder what his opinion would be of you...ya know..?. Asking for a friend.
  7. Man...I know this much. It really stinks to read such negative takes on Donaldson for his time here. I mean calling him a cancer? Really? Posted by people that never had an opportunity to meet him, get to talk to him or have ANY credible resources. His teammates respect him and dissagree with your opinion But you must be right @wilfong86 and many others. Does this make you feel better about yourself?
  8. Trading CC for a young minor league pitcher does not improve the team this year. On top of that, have you watched his defense this year? A true spectacle. How many games has Lewis played at the major league level? Few good games and you wish to trade Carlos?
  9. I agree. Been saying from spring training, this team will win along of games. Love watching this team play. 2019 was fun, but this team is definitely more enjoyable!
  10. Sounds like so many are happy how the season is going but expecting the worst to happen. I have beating this drum since putting eyes on this team in Florida....get on board! This team is 1. Exciting 2. Really Good 3. A true contender This is just my opinion...and many can say I told you so if I am wrong. However...this is the best team and opportunity in awhile. Let's get excited!! Let's turn these pessimistic out looks to true hope and optimistic views. We have a very good young team with veteran leadership. Trust me on this.
  11. I guess my question is...who came up with the goal of 100 games? A doctor? Him? FO? Would 122 games cause injury? Would. 87 played mean he has more in the tank? Is it a random number? Either way I love watching him play and is well worth it to me.
  12. Thankyou very much Seth. I really enjoy reading your articles. I wish I could contribute more. However my skills are limited and do not add much. I wish my writing could come close to my experiences with our players in Florida.
  13. Made an 8 .5 hour drive to Fort Myers to watch the Muscles homestead. Was treated to some really fun baseball. Emma Rodriduez just continues to really catch my eye. Very mature speaking with him also. Also was able to catch few of the FCL Twins games gearing up to start there season. Talk about fun, the kids and coaches were so excited to see me and my wife cheering them on at 10 Saturday morning at jet blue. Great experience and these guys are sooooo thankfull for the support. Had a blast
  14. Winder will be a steady force in our rotation. I can't stress this enough, he is on a innings limit this year. He is doing exactly ? what he should be doing. So are many others. You do know our best pitcher Ryan wasn't one of our own? But acquired from outside of the organization. What's your solution?
  15. I have to ask the multitudes, why such pessimistic takes? What is it that we need? I just feel as if many are "blaming cold" weather or expect the starters to fall flat at some point...if not soon. I'm sure it's just guarded optimism? However I do not see this start as a fluke. I honestly believe this is the best rotation we have had in multiple years...with ample depth. I'm sure all will become believers soon enough.
  16. Ok, let me ask you this. Do you expect us to remain a top ten rotation? What would it take for you to become a believer and not just thinking it's based more on the arms just being fresh and early of the season? I truly am curious of what sounds like pessimism. What would you personally need to see to become optimistic that we have a top ten strong deep rotation?
  17. So nice to finally read positive comments on here for sure! Even better to see the Twins dominate in all 3 phases of the game. Winder looked great and has the gifts to be our top starter. God bless all.
  18. Got the opportunity to meet him and spend some time with him while at spring training. I came away very impressed as well. Such a nice young man, always giving thanks to God. He definitely is special and just really stood out on field and in the dugout amongst his peers. I can say The Twins really do a good job transitioning these players to a new environment. Not sure if there are teams that do it better than the staff down at Fort Myers.
