    I like Rocco, I think he is a solid manager, but it is the right move.

    Thoughtful article that makes the point that Correa is slipping at defense and we probably should stop referring to it in vaunted terms. However, I agree with the consensus that the next best alternative is Brooks Lee and Correa's defense is still better. He'll move to 3B eventually and be better for it, but we need a better alternative first.

    Mudonna gotta be pissed to be passed over for promotion in favor of a rookie. She's paid her dues in the minors for two decades and still hasn't gotten a chance to show what she can do in the majors.

    I generally agree with this. Have him mostly DH during his rehab assignment so he can get his hitting timing back, and then play a few games at CF so he can get back in the groove and, more importantly, determine how much recovery is warranted after playing a game in the outfield.

    Martin seems destined for a utility role, and if Miranda recovers well enough to factor into their infield plans, he will have surprised me.

    I see we have a big Washington Senators fan on our hands.

    The value the players provided is almost beside the point, the Twins won because they got out of Donaldson's contract and, to the surprise of many (including me) they actually used that money on another, better player instead of just banking it.
