  1. Don't forget about Chris Paddack when you mention trades for faulty pitchers.
  2. This is Falvey's hire and Falvey is in control. Doesn't matter who gets the job. Like Baldelli. love Baldelli, hate Baldelliu. He got to see who was in charge July 31. Wasn't him.
  3. I'd add LAD to the list. Some intriguing OF prospects and maybe still pry a guy like Rushing away. As someone mentioned, Detroit too. They also have some pieces that would work.
  4. "and we'll use the money we save on the Correa contract to invest elsewhere. Good trade." Yeah,uh huh, sure we will.
  5. Thank you for this comment. This sums us all up very well. I'm an introvert and sometimes upon meeting someone I'm taken as crabby or stand offish by others. In my heart I know that I'm neither. But many want to take one interaction and think they know exactly who I am. I don't know Royce whatsoever. But what I do know of him is when he is on his game he can turn this team around. As was stated he won't be a FA until 2029. I don't expect in his case for there to be an extension. Hopefully we will again see the player we saw in 2023. If he ever is traded that is the value we need to seek in return. Trading him now will not net us premium return I am certain.
  6. Very short sided. I decided to look at the rostered players this morning. Lewis is the only player we have who over a 162 game average has averaged in the neighborhood of 30HR and 100 RBI. Buxton and Wallner are in the 30 HR park but fall well short in the RBI. No we need to stay with Lewis until he becomes an FA. Unless the return was out of the park good. Then you listen and consider anybody. But we are talking Falvey as the GM, I can see him being persuaded by a deal that is not in our favor too.
  7. Gagne any day and everyday for me. Though his bat was far from elite he wasn't an automatic out either. I guess I'd go with Correa at #5, tie with Polanco at best.
  8. The key to Royce's future is staying healthy and injury free. If this happens I believe he'll be the player he has the potential to be. I realize that this is a big if at this point because history tells a lot. I've read many many trade Royce Lewis comments. I'm not in that camp. I have zero interest in trading a guy for next to nothing who has the potential of Lewis. Even if he doesn't kick the injury bug, the 60-70 games he plays will be better than the nothing players you receive back for him.
  9. Wallner is maybe the one player currently rostered that I believe and am confident will have a greatly improved 2026. I'm not one who is either in his fanclub or against him in any way. The rest of this team aside from Buxton and Jeffers I have little confidence in. I am in favor of Wallner being our full-time DH. I also don't see any player that we have who shouldn't be considered for trade, including Wallner. If it improves the club moving forward, then yes.
  10. Give me a piece of the Roch. Otherwise in this group if we end up picking lower I like Hacopian. We could use an 1B. Now. But in his case a bit later.
  11. You started a rebuild. Use your assets to come out of that rebuild in the very best position possible. To me the choice is obvious whether it's popular or not.
  12. If this don't light your fire then your wood must be wet. Fire Falvey.
  13. I'm also an optimistic person. But I'm not hopeful about the future play and direction of this team as long as Falvey is calling the shots. He failed and shouldn't be. Hopefully Vazquez gets a chance at pursuing his dream of managing an ML team, whoever it happens to be.
  14. Even Outman received 104 PA's. But he got regular playing time August and September. This article indeed is not productive or makes sense.
  15. I'm not going to attempt to defend Kiersey's play. But how can we call a guy that got a grand total of 88 PA's be the teams "least valuable player?" That makes zero sense. Even Gasper got 110 PA's. Kiersey was getting about 20 PA's a month. No player will excel with that. We still don't know what Kiersey can do because he didn't receive playing time. I'm not saying he would be better because I just don't know. No one else actually does either and if they say otherwise then they are just bashing a player.
  16. Martin has earned a chance in 2026. In my opinion he still needs to come to ST and impress and show progression. But he has earned some more looks. Clemens? I don't feel the same way. Even as far as 2026 goes if your goal is 90 losses or more and a last place finish then go with him. In the case of the 2026 Twins, who I don't see competing, I'd like to see this spot go to youth. Whether he's in the org right now or not.
  17. Luke K all the way. Really don't know why we'd even mention the others mentioned though.
  18. It is obvious that the biggest problem is the FO. Yes ownership is a problem as well, they are the ones that allow this FO not to be accountable and be fired. But the plan hasn't worked. The longer that reality is ignored the longer it takes to actually put a plan in place that could work is delayed. This FO and and head of it can't be trusted to implement a workable plan. A new manager offers me no hope without a change in management in the Front Office.
  19. This mess is Falvey and Rocco together. I hold Falvey more responsible but Rocco fell on Falvey's sword for him. I honestly could care less right now who is the new manager as long as Falvey heads the FO. Yeah terrible attitude. But this is the attitude that Pohlad and Falvey have fostered.
  20. I like Rocco as a person. But he needed to be gone. Not for how he managed a game. He's mostly typical. But young players didn't develop here. But the bigger problem remains. Falvey. This is the team that he built and it failed in epic proportions.
  21. We have poor ownership that stays despite it failing. Therefore we have a poor FO that is allowed to stay despite its failing. Therefore we have poor on field managing that is allowed to continue on despite its failing. We have poor player development that is allowed to go on as is despite its failing. Nothing changes. This franchise is consistent I will say that for it.
  22. This 2025 version of the Twins is the team that Falvey built. But we're just supposed to ignore that matter of fact. He should be fired.
  23. I been right there with you hoping Martin would get a fair shot and not be discarded.
