    Went to a Tigers series in Detroit against Jays 5 years ago. They had a concert with Metallica the weekend before. What a mess the field was. Never seen anything like it. So bad they had to re-sod 1/3 of the outfield when the Tigers left for out of town.

    1) Dump Popkins and his two Lieutenants. You can't fire the team. 2) DFA Kepler 3) DFA Pagan Promote on interim basis the batting coach job within the system who is doing the best job. Promote Wallner to RF. Promote the best BP pitcher from StPS.

    I subscribe to the NYTimes and they have a teaser constantly coming up. The NYTimes bought The Athletic last Nov for $550MM. Knew some changes would be in the wind when The Athletic was purchased. I subscribed to it for a year. But as a baseball only pro sports follower, I couldn't justify a 2nd year. Give me the Sporting News of the '50s and '60s again and I will subscribe.

    That's where I quit reading. Each 'side' made their point. Once that's done, move on. I don't have to prove you 'wrong,' and me 'right.' We can just disagree. It's a ballgame after all. It's why I post with my name. It helps me remember to respect you and post only remarks which I would say in person to you. I can disagree with you but I hope not to be disagreeable. If I cross that line with any of you, please message me and we can work it out. Boards are one dimensional. We can't see the twinkle in one's eye, we don't know when you are pulling my bobber, and the tone can escalate. Go Twins. And let me tell you about Pagan (winks)...

    Molitor, when quizzed about why no bunting skills:...: "As I travel around our minor league camps, batters don't even begin their batting practice with a couple of bunts the way we always used to." He also mentioned the stress on analytics and the HR chase. You could get an earful from him about this.

    MLB radio listener. I can tune out all the commercials but the Birddogs one is about to push me over the cliff. This repetition would make any prisoner give up anything the police needed.
