    THIS....should've been 5 shoutout with enough pitches to get into the 6th. 8th grade jump on that ball that dropped in front of Martin and how in the world is a ball that hits your glove between your feet and end up in the outfield considered a hit????? I was watching the family celebrate and I was thinking to myself "Not so fast, that's an error....."

    I'm thrilled they won the game, but for the first seven innings, that might have been the most pathetic offensive performance of the year. It was a bad omen when Willie lead off going 3-2 with the starting pitcher yet to throw a strike and then getting rung up on a pitch well outside. The Blue Jays starting pitcher had probably the worst stuff I've seen from a starter all year and he still managed to not give up any runs. Just pathetic AB's all day long. Thank God Royce saved the day on a hanging slider. I really hope Buxton's hip can get comfortable soon. SMH

    Jax threw 10 pitches in the 7th......he couldn't pitch the 8th? Sands is available.. Alcala has been great minus the last outing. Instead........we go to Okert. This one's on you Rocco

    Yeah....I see where last night Naylor was struck out in the 3rd inning or so which would have been the 3rd out....instead it was called a ball and they went on to score 5 runs.

    Hip discomfort? Are you ****ing me? I've been one of Buxton's biggest defenders, but this is getting ridiculous. I've heard football coaches complain about wide receivers who have "track legs" and are always pulling something and can't/won't play with aches and pains. At some point, you have to play with a little discomfort.

    I wouldn't mind them offering him arbitration....knee surgery should correct the problem and give him the offseason to rehab. Arm is solid (unless his most recent set-back is arm related). Twins will be too cheap to do it, but with our lack of bullpen arms, I'd take a chance.

    When Vazquez missed the HR by about 6 inches I turned to my son and said "Cleveland puts up a crooked number next inning guaranteed....." Just one of those days......need Carlos back ASAP

    Triceps tenderness....that's probably good news. Triceps isn't usually indicative of Tommy John surgery, forearm issues are.

    Not even DH'ing Lewis with a day off tomorrow was waving the white flag.....Buxton is one of my favorite players to watch, but he's more brittle than my 95 year old grandma....missing three games for running into the fence is ridiculous. Rocco's pregame interview again today said he was unsure if Buxton would be available for today (he would have to hear from the trainers)....what happened to he was fine 2 games ago and it was just a scheduled day off?? To have Richards on this roster with Varland at AAA is disgusting. Before i get hammered, I'm not advocating for him to be a starter, but knock, knock....you're in a pennant race. You need to have your best arms on the roster. Richards ain't it. Ridiculous.

    Is he that bad? I'm struggling to trust the strike zone on TV right now, but if it's correct he's about 50/50 on close calls, most going the Twins way.

    I hadn't heard about the "set-back"....only that he was due to make one more rehab start before joining the Giants. You saying that Soto would be the #28 prospect in the Guardian's system? I doubt that.....

    I acknowledge I know nothing about the Royals farm system, but it's reported they gave up 2 top 15 prospects in their chain and a 3rd minor leaguer who's having a blow up year. That's a lot and I can't see the Twins doing that. Even if it's not about $$$$$$.

    You wouldn't take a flyer on Cobb in exchange for say Dylan Questad which is about the equivalent rated prospect that Cleveland gave up for him??? I sure as hell would......even if he was our 5th starter.....

    Meanwhile, Cleveland goes out and gets Alex Cobb for a prospect ranked #28 in their organization.....(akin to like Dylan Questad in the Twins)..... SMH at this squads ownership......

    I really wanted to see Wallner uncork one just for fun....he sorta tried and hit 82 mph Rocco clearly saving Thielbar for a clutch inning tomorrow. SMH
