Desperation games in a pennant race and our high-leverage relievers are Rony, Tonky and Cole Irvin. A career minor leaguer, a guy who's been released like 3 times this year and guy we just picked up a couple of days ago after being released. I'd laugh, if I wasn't crying.

I know we hate short starts, but SWR is throwing everything up there but the kitchen sink. I'm predicting an implosion is going to happen soon. There needs to be at least someone getting loose. The slider ain't sliding (he's gotten away with some) , the FB is 91 and the curve is starting to bounce. Hope I'm wrong....

Did not look like Buxton went hard after that ball.....and don't tell me he's hurt. He can go 100 mph beating out an infield single, but appeared to nonchalant that ball....

SWR fastball hovering around 91----his tank is empty. I still think he has a chance long-term to be a good starter, but he's been asked to do too much this year.

Only speed on the team gets on base to lead-off the inning. The pitcher uses up one of his pickoff moves....pssst Rocco----you might need to try to steal a base, because this lineup ain't gonna string a bunch of hits together.

Such terrible offense too.....just CLUELESS AB's. Guess guess guess. They're making another mediocre pitcher look like Cy Young. He's just cruising through 5 and should be throwing a shutout.

Game over. We scored our run on a HBP, an error (called a 2B) and a bleeder that Buck beat out. That's the horse crap type offense right now. 5 runs seems insurmountable.

Yes.....you can block the plate with the ball....I believe you can also block the plate if that is where the throw takes you....you can't set-up to block the plate.

Did Sim have enough time to get a drink? We are in a streak of games where we take terrible AB after terrible AB leading to such easy innings for the opposing pitchers.

********.....Steer was about our 4th-5th best middle infield prospect at the time.....everyone thought it was a great trade...the Twins were finally "going for it". It didn't work out, but don't play that game. Hindsight is 50/50.
