  1. Anybody else shaking their heads thinking about 2 of the most important players in the organization who are rehabbing serious leg muscle pulls stealing bases in meaningless rehab games???? SMH
  2. Farmer absolutely destroyed that ball in the 8th (i believe).....3rd baseman made an unbelievable catch or we would have added on runs....
  3. I hope Preillip isn't one of those guys who 10 years from now we say....."what might've been"....because his stuff (and being left-handed) are a rare commodity....hope he can somehow stay healthy.... I can't imagine how guys like him and Canterino and Royce Lewis continue to rehab and not get incredibly frustrated and depressed. I just had knee replacement surgery on Monday and everything about it sucks so bad. Can't imagine having to go through it again and again.....
  4. I've never seen another pitcher that could throw 100+MPH that throws his fastball less.....I don't see him shaking the catcher off, so that's coming from our catchers/dugout.
  5. What a play by Correa to end the 7th.....we win!!! We win! Oh, ****. You mean this isn't a 7 inning game? Thank God we have Stewart for the 8th.....errrrr at least we have a well-rested Jax......errrr at least we have.....what the heck do we have?
  6. Someone explain to me the analytics of pitching Jax last night in a 10-0 blowout win??
  7. Who cares? It's called pitching....and he was doing a helluva job. Pure stupidity to think you're going to get 4 1/3 innings from this bullpen. It might work, but it's ridiculous. Can't picture any other manager in baseball making this move at 77 pitches.
  8. Don't you dare have Buxton try to steal here......need him healthy.
  9. Huh.....two weak flyouts before he was pulled....including the first out where he just challenged the dude on a 3-1 fastball and beat him. Such a lame-ass Rocco move.
  10. You've got to be kidding me.....if I'm SWR, i'm flipping Rocco the bird as he walks out to take me out while i'm throwing a shutout and i've got 2 outs in the 4th. Bringing in our dominant bullpen.
  11. It was an 0-2 pitch and then an absolute nothing slider right down the middle.....yeah that's his fault.
  12. it's not Duran not trusting his staff.....he wasn't shaking anyone off. He's going with what our catchers call. In the Yankees series, there was a call that was eventually overturned where the Yankees were late in asking for a challenge. Someone on here said that there is "wriggle room" (or something like that) with the challenge clock. Well....is there "wriggle room" in regard to that rule, but not regarding the shift. If Correa violated the rule, it was by inches. It must've been close because the challenge took a long time to be decided. If they are gonna call it that close, there should be a line. Rules are rules, right?
  13. I wonder if Rocco said anything in the post-game interview????
  14. There would be a league-wide investigation and the headline story on ESPN if a home plate ump screwed the Yankees like the Twins got screwed tonight.
  15. Bad bad bad loss. Ump literally cost us this game. Correa got screwed too. Duran throws 102......let's throw nothing but breaking balls. Four straight. Just an absolute joke.
  16. This ump is absolute.horseshit.....the first 2 pitches to Ramirez were both strikes....should've been 0-2 instead of 2-0. 3rd pitch should've been strike 3. He hits HR on next pitch. Combined with ringing up Castro on a ball 12 inches outside....i don't know what else to say.
  17. Great throw by Jeffers....this better be overturned......
  18. Just an embarrassing display of baseball so far tonight: 1. The first 4 innings the Twins could've stood at the plate like statues because McKenzie couldn't have thrown 3 strikes in one AB to save his life. He had NOTHING but we flailed away at balls in the dirt and pitches outside. He was also helped by an incredibly big strike zone. When he did get to 2 strikes (mostly because of our ridiculous pitch recognition) we would often take strike 3 down the middle. He was topping out at 91 (maybe 92). Ridiculous. 2. Poor SWR.....he had to get Ramirez out 3 times in the 6th. How does Correa violate the shift rule. He's looking right at home plate. Secondly, Ramirez pops up, Jeffers stands there, and Miranda jogs into try to catch the pop up. Ridiculous. We then throw the ball into center field on a stolen base attempt. Little league. 3. Okert? Enough said. 0-2----right down the freaking middle. 4. The strike 3 on Castro in the 8th was a FOOT outside. Cost us a run. One of the worst punch outs I've seen all year.
  19. I don't know if i've ever seen a game with such soft contact from our hitters.....Correa's double and a bunch of weak grounders and pop-ups.
  20. Fun fact....Alex Verdugo makes the same $$$$ as Manny Margot....who would we rather have hitting and playing the outfield?? SMH
  21. The difference in outfield play in this series is mind-boggling.....
  22. In the first game of the series they ruled a double on Soto's flare to centerfield that Castro pulled up on and then misplayed when he transferred the ball from his glove to hand. I thought that was the worst scoring decision I had seen in a while....until today. The ball hit AK's glove right in the middle. He didn't have to dive for it, not was he even fully sprinting at the time it hit his glove. This is the major leagues FFS......
  23. Really? So now there's some "slack" in the rule??? I understand your point, but if you're gonna allow "slack" you're opening up a can of worms.....
  24. He almost had to with the way the ump is giving Strohman the low and outside pitch.....
