    If Buck's season is over, that takes care of the 40-man roster question. Buck goes on the 60-day IL, which removes him from the 40.

    It depends how bad Buxton's hip is. If he can't come back this season, he can go on the 60-day IL, which frees up a spot.

    The question on Jenkins, do you want to have him locked out at the beginning of 2027, or have him actually in spring training and playing games? If they call him up, he is on the 40-man, and gets locked out. If they keep him in St. Paul and off the 40-man, they have him in spring and at St. Paul until the CBA is signed and them they move him onto the 40-man and call him up.

    If there is ever a good time for a bunch of rainouts, it's while Buxton & Correa are on the IL. Plus, the 3+ innings pitched by Ober might not be wasted, it might be his turn in the rotation when the suspended game continues in September😀

    In basketball, the Clippers claim Bob McAdoo as one of their greatest, even though he was on the Buffalo Braves. Look at the Kings records, and you still see Oscar Robertson. The only exception to this is if the league says the relocated team is a new franchise and the old team still claims the rights to the teams records (see Cleveland Browns and Arizona Coyotes)

    Let's remember, Gonzalez is about 2 years younger than the average A+ player. Another year in A+, without the 2 month injury, might get him back in sync. He will still be only 21 next year and closer to the average age in the league.

    Texas & Seattle play 7 more times (each of the last 2 weekends). The 25th-27th, Texas is at the Angels and Seattle hosts Houston on the 25th-27th. Houston hosts KC the 22nd-24th, and is at Arizona the last weekend. The Twins might be able to survive with Lewis & Correa on the IL until the last series and still might be able to climb to #2. Correa is already ILed for Larnach, Lewis for Gordon until the 30th might be in order.

    Plus, with Taylor, they can DH Buck more without losing defense in CF. That might mean 20-25 more games in the batting order for Buck.

    Because most teams see teams don't want players to change their approach to hitting because of a shift. That might screw up their swings. Plus the shifting team is saying a single to the opposite field is better than a double in the gap or a home run.

    I wouldn't call it a garage, but a manufacturing process. Let's see how the players on the backfields develop before pooh-poohing the process.
