  1. If you get your TV from Hulu Live, You Tube TV, Fubo, etc.; ESPN whatever is already included in your monthly fee.
  2. If there is ever a good time for a bunch of rainouts, it's while Buxton & Correa are on the IL. Plus, the 3+ innings pitched by Ober might not be wasted, it might be his turn in the rotation when the suspended game continues in September😀
  3. In basketball, the Clippers claim Bob McAdoo as one of their greatest, even though he was on the Buffalo Braves. Look at the Kings records, and you still see Oscar Robertson. The only exception to this is if the league says the relocated team is a new franchise and the old team still claims the rights to the teams records (see Cleveland Browns and Arizona Coyotes)
  4. Let's remember, Gonzalez is about 2 years younger than the average A+ player. Another year in A+, without the 2 month injury, might get him back in sync. He will still be only 21 next year and closer to the average age in the league.
  5. Texas & Seattle play 7 more times (each of the last 2 weekends). The 25th-27th, Texas is at the Angels and Seattle hosts Houston on the 25th-27th. Houston hosts KC the 22nd-24th, and is at Arizona the last weekend. The Twins might be able to survive with Lewis & Correa on the IL until the last series and still might be able to climb to #2. Correa is already ILed for Larnach, Lewis for Gordon until the 30th might be in order.
  6. 10-day IL would bring him back for the last series vs the Rockies. Do it.
  7. And the King of Mediocre WS Winners: The 2006 Cardinals at 82-80.
  8. Plus, with Taylor, they can DH Buck more without losing defense in CF. That might mean 20-25 more games in the batting order for Buck.
  9. 18% with the two throw-over rule might not be bad anymore. We have to see how many of those SBs were off of good jumps with no threat of a pickoff attempt.
  10. Fulmer moves to the less leverage 6th or 7th inning spot. Good move.
  11. Nice to see Sonny have a great rehab start. But, should a rehabbing Major Leaguer really be considered for Minor League player or pitcher of the day?
  12. I've known Tracy almost all of her life (confession: I went to high school with her mom), I can attest to how great a person she is.
  13. Now you're in trouble with RandBalls Stu for stealing a great article idea.
  14. Because most teams see teams don't want players to change their approach to hitting because of a shift. That might screw up their swings. Plus the shifting team is saying a single to the opposite field is better than a double in the gap or a home run.
  15. I wouldn't call it a garage, but a manufacturing process. Let's see how the players on the backfields develop before pooh-poohing the process.
  16. Is there a stat for errors prevented? Because Joe bailed out Sano & Polanco more times than I can remember.
