Twins Announce Spring Breakout Roster

To be honest I hadn't not even heard of Christomo and a couple other of the pitchers. Should be a fun exercise. GL

Who am I looking forward to seeing take the field. Lee. Jenkins and EmRod. Lets see what our top guys have,

And there will be no call to the left-hander to come in to pitch.

That's the first think I noticed, too. We could use a few more leftys the pipeline.

I am a little intrigued by Miguel Rodriguez being included on this roster.  After five seasons in the Twins system it appears that his last two have been specifically as a closer and at age 25 he needs to still prove himself worthy against AA competition.  That is investing a lot of patience in a guy, hopefully his inclusion here is a sign that a payoff to that patience is on the horizon.

Looking forward to see these guys play not only individually but as a team. What's interesting is our catching where the highest level is A+ & low on the catching depth. Those higher in depth are not rated. Still rather watch these lower level catchers play. Though I'd like to see them more qualified at that position,

We are finally going to see Charlee Soto pitch?!

This is a great idea for baseball to do.  I will try my best to catch the game, However, it is only one game and I sure hope people do not take too much from it.  It is more just a fun way for our top prospects to get to play together and let fans see them who could not normally otherwise. I mostly will look forward to Jenkins and Soto.

Yes. More. Something like soccer's World Cup. Break the teams up into pools and have a few mini tournaments.

Good idea. The fans will love this. It feels like a new feeling of a baseball family. Great addition.
