Hours needed to be spent on baserunning in ST2014?

 

I can't count that high.

 

I'm not sure what they have planned for 2014... But... I found the 2013 spring training pie chart of what they worked on for this year.

ChiTown: oh you know... The same... Working.... Tennis in the mornings... Baking... Trips to Ft. Myers... A little Bach and Yo Yo Ma in my spare time and the Twins of course.

 

Loserdude: I bet you are wondering why I'm calling.

loserdude: well I ran into that friend of yours... Can't remember her name... But she said I should call you. I've been doing a little painting lately. I started painting baskets of fruit until I found my true calling. That's road kill. Skunks... Deer... You name it... Dead on the side of the road... I've been able to capture that on my canvas.

 

ChiTown: listen I'm not interested in what you are doing now... I've moved on... You and I we don't have...

 

Loserdude... Last week I won the lottery... 22 million after taxes...

 

ChiTown: I got nothing going on Friday.

Took a chance that there was something more interesting going on here that there was something going on here than in the actual Twins game, which I was trying to resist my car-accident-gawker impulse to watch during this bitter end phase.

 

Skipped to the last page and this was the first thing I saw. Figured that short of Verlander having struck out every Twins batter through six, this would be more interesting. Just checked and it turns out he has only 11 K's through 5, so he's probably not even going to make it to 20.

 

So now I'm going to have to make popcorn and read the whole thread from the beginning. Not a romance novel fan, but if there's even a small chance there's a star-crossed encounter involving apple crisp...

Twins have struck out 12 times already.

 

They are 0-9 with RISP.

 

Not the highlight game I had hoped for.

 

We just need a couple... One nice inning and we got it... Unless the Tigers have a 12 run inning.

Just one of those things that he seemed great initially, but the more I got to know him, the more it just wasn't great. Won't go into any more details than that.

 

And, back to the game ... crap, another run scored.
