Lineup not out... I hope they all get out... Once it comes out.

 

Things to Think About:

 

1. Think About Eric Fryer... It's nice that he's getting a start. He hit a home run the other night... He probably thought that would spring board himself into a start the next night... That didn't happen... He had to wait until getaway day.

 

2. Think about Scott Diamond... He gave us some high hope last year... Now no one knows what he is going to give us. Good Luck Scott... Go Get Em... Pulling for ya.

 

3. Think about Oswaldo Arcia... I wonder if he likes LF or RF better. It's a lame thought I know... But... It's early in the day... And I'm struggling to come up with baseball thoughts against the White Sox this September Pennant Chaseless Morning.

 

4. Think about... (INSERT THOUGHT HERE)

 

5. Think about Signs... Signs Signs everywhere a Sign... Blocking up the scenery... A couple years ago... There was an employee strike at the sign company. They were picketing in front of the company carrying signs... Since they were on strike... There was nothing printed on the signs.

That Danks is going to be a busy guy - starting pitcher and he has to hustle out to RF when the ball is hit.

4. Think about...if a game is played in September by two teams who are already eliminated, and nobody cares about the outcome, does it still count?

OK, one thought. From here on out I want to see good results from the players who matter going forward. RBI single by Arcia in the first inning definitely qualifies.

Do I have this right? After two (2!) innings, seven of the nine Twins' starters have a hit? Four runs and seven hits is more than a game's worth!

 

Yep. and after 2 innings the Sox haven't gotten the ball out of the infield.

Game isn't on TV today. They'll have the abbreviated version on FSN tonight.

 

I'm listening to the radio. That is, when I'm not doing work stuff that makes me leave my desk.

I'm game - I have to leave the office in a few minutes anyway. Of course I'm busy tonight too. Sucks to miss the first good game they've had in a while.
