And look at that... the Twins strand runners when the bases are loaded...

In fairness, it usually takes the Twins two outs to load the bases while better offenses load 'em up quicker.

Hey! I'm sort of insulted by that (because I don't think it looks that good), but it's probably true. I bake, I don't cook.

I don't cook either. This is what I eat:

Horizontal: going through an entire row of kernels then moving to the next row the way God intended.

Vertical: that abomination of a way W was eating in the photo.

Thank you for the explanation. I'm not the brightest guy in the world, but normally when given a few minutes the light bulb comes on and I "get" one of your more obscure references.

That one had me scratching my head.

I assumed it was another of Chitown's culinary adventures.

It had to be posted tonight... Otherwise it may never be posted. You gotta walk through those windows when they open!

A new ethanol plant out near Redwood Falls?

Back from class...the score is not my fault this time.

Welcome James. Did you learn anything useful in class?

A whole lot better than walking through them when they're closed!

I took the dog for a walk, ran to the store, and washed both cars. I guess I missed a coupla' Sox ABs against Pelf.

It looks like someone sat on your avatar.

Which, as a perusal of previous game threads will verify, he also does.

Anyone else planning on taking in an AFL game or two? I'm looking forward to watching something a little closer to major league baseball.

Summary for tonight's class... Technology may lead advantageous business conditions.

That is all.

When I was a bachelor... I used to buy noodles... Tuna and cream of celery soup... And I'd mix them together and I'd have that every other night... Kraft Mac and Cheese the other nights. Unless I didn't have any clean pans to cook in... Then it was Doritos or Crackers and Cheez Whiz.

I was in my 20's and I could have ate Tupperware and my system would have been ok.

You might want to think of asking for a partial tuition refund if that's all.

I have that same recipe... it's with cream of mushroom soup though.

It's more sad that I am now in my (barely) 30's and still do that. But if it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

Tupperware would have been healthier.

The previous two weeks of this class were more insightful. So hopefully he's not out of material. Only 11 more weeks of class to go this semester!

Our kids knew it as Tuna Goop when they still lived at home. A succulent gourmet treat.

If I keep reporting on what I've learned in class on these game threads, does it mean that all of TD will get the MBA as well?

Ahh. See I call it "Tuna Slop" if it's tuna, cream of mushroom soup, peas and then poured over toast. Also delicious.

Father Guido:

I got this idea for a school I would like to start, something called the Five Minute University. The idea is that in five minutes you learn what the average college graduate remembers five years after he or she is out of school.

It would cost like twenty dollars. That might seem like a lot of money, twenty dollars just for five minutes, but that's for like tuition, cap and gown rental, graduation picture, snacks, everything. Everything included.

You know, like in college you have to take a foreign language. Well, at the Five Minute University you can have your choice, any language you want you can take it. Say if you want to take Spanish, what I teach you is "¿Como está usted?" that means, "how are you", and the answer is "muy bien," means "very well." And believe me, if you took two years of college Spanish, five years after you are out of school "¿Como está usted?" and "muy bien" about all you're gonna remember.

So in my school that's all you learn. You see, you don't have to waste your time with conjugations and vocabulary, all that junk. You'll just forget it anyway, what's the difference.

Economics? "Supply and Demand." That's it. Business is, "you buy something, and you sell it for more."
