I see it. And with this guy, I just don't believe it. I feel the need to go to ever finer granularity in his record and find the thing about him that bugs me: he just seems to give up the big hit when it will cost the previous pitcher something. And, I know there are stats for that, and if I look them up it won't show anything. And normally I'm the last to argue in favor of elusive clutch stats for major leaguers. And, and, and... I don't think you can intentionally jinx the other team. Trying that backfires, in my humble experience. Just have to ride it out. Open to ideas though.
