I’m not going to argue with any of the free agent prices, though I think they’re not all correct. I will just use them as a shopping list.

Acquire Joey Bart C for cash considerations (he is a likely non-tender)

Trade Trevor Larnach for minor league prospects

Brandon Lowe at $21M is a steal

Prielipp is the 6th starter, Matthews is the 7th. Bradley gets a long term extension. Ober moves to the bullpen and so does Rojas.

Sands can fight with Adams, Acton and Orze for the last spot in the bullpen.

Is it fair to say your bullpen strategy is signing a bunch of minor league + ST invite guys to compete? Or are you not signing anyone for the bullpen?

I moved Rojas and Ober to the bullpen. I doubt they can find a reliever who will outperform Ober at that price point.

I believe both Ober and Rojas would be solid to really good in the bullpen.

I'm not convinced Ober would be good in the bullpen, but I also think it's possible I'm completely wrong.

I like keeping him around as veteran depth to account for Abel and Lopez coming back from injuries and any possible injuries that pop up before the season. If we make it to opening day with those guys looking good, then he can be moved to the bullpen.
