Old friend Griffin Jax  warming up,

[Andy MacPhail]

It's been a great postseason. The greatest series are MIL/ SD, The best team against the hottest. Should have been NLC series with MIL on top. NYY's defense should do them in.

[Mortimerkenny21]

Jax, not so clean.

Jeffrey Maier revisited

Hoping the Rays can knock the Yanks out.

[Aggies7]

And the trend of Anthony Volpe dominating the twins continues

Shortest vertical jump in MLB....still good to take a run from the Evil Empire

[The Great Hambino]

I love how they handled this review.  Double with the runner scoring is the most logical result since it clearly wasn't going over the fence but he also clearly wasn't going to catch it.

Common sense has a place in rules/replay enforcement after all

[Parfigliano]

Yankee fan interference.  Fan easy to ID and I'm guessing fan is going to experience some negative life consequences.

Common sense that benefits the NYY.  How convenient.

[Aggies7]

lol Spencer jones, I feel like I’ve seen him strike out about 35 times in the few times I’ve seen him play

They could have left the home run as is, sure the Yankees fans would have liked that

Ah yes, they clearly benefited from a run being taken off the board based on the call on the field

No they couldn't because there was clear video it wasn't going over the fence.  Speculation, guess, and conjecture as to where runners should end up was used to benefit the NYY.

No team deserves Aranda at 1B...

Great games , all really close scores , some shady defense but overall we are seeing the good teams playing good ball

[Parfigliano]

Buh-bye NYY.

Awesome Yankees eliminated in front of their hometown fans …

there is always next year as we say in Minnesota sports

It still freaks me out that AJ Pierzynski is sought out and paid to pontificate on playoff baseball.

[Aggies7]

Playoffs are better with the Yankees in it. As long as they don’t win it all.

Brewers/Dodgers running it back. Hopefully this one goes a little bit better for Milwaukee. It will probably be Misirowski/Skubal in Game 1. That seems like a much watch game.

another Josh Bell  there

Looking at MLB teams' HR/ game ranking- MIL is #29, CLE is # 27, TB #22, SD #15

Postseason teams, except HOU #1, NYY #2 & LAD #7, did not rank high in HRs, but the teams that ranked high in defense & how they used their BP, were very competitive in the postseason. I'd like to go into detail later in a blog. Too bad SD were seated with MIL, because they deserved to go further.
