Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 You Pacific Time Zone people are messing me up... I'm supposed to be watching a game right now. I'm sitting here watching a game with my imagination. We are up 3-0.

Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 But, to be honest, I am far too Midwestern to do either. I'm pretty Midwestern and I'm pretty sure I'd do both, then both again. Perhaps you're just too much librarian to do either?

Bark's Lounge Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I'm sitting here watching a game with my imagination. We are up 3-0. That pretty much sums up how I've watched each game the last 3 seasons. Damn! Trumbo just hit a game tying 3 run HR. My imagination sucks!
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Hey, I resent that remark! I resemble that remark too.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 3 more unearned runs already? We don't get to play the Injuns every night.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Hey, I resent that remark! At least for another hour when I'll for sure be in mountain time. So if you leave when the game is starting and fly back in time, has it started yet?
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 We don't get to play the Injuns every night. But we do get them like 15 more times before the end of the season. Subtract the 3 times we'll face Masterson again, and that's like 12 more wins. Gotta love that.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 So if you leave when the game is starting and fly back in time, has it started yet? Is that a line from "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure?"

diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Yes, all my aliases had a great time. They are already poking me wondering when we'll return. But I think I need to save some money first. It's really easy to throw it away. Even at the airport the call of that damn Wheel of Fortune machine is proving too great! Yeah, I'm in San Jose this week and connected via Vegas... I'm already thinking of playing that Wheel of Fortune game that has the 3.5M grand prize during my return layover on Friday.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 So if you leave when the game is starting and fly back in time, has it started yet? You have to cross the International Date Line a couple of times for that to happen. / not the Chuck Barris game show

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 I'm watching a documentary waiting for the game. Sea Turtles return to the beach en masse and each sea turtle will dig a hole on the beach and lay 100 to 200 eggs. Tens of thousands of sea turtles hatch and dig themselves out of the hole and must crawl 100 yards to the safety of the sea while being picked off one by one by predators. 1 to 5 percent make the sea... The rest are food. Sounds like life in the minor leagues.
