Watching a lineup that includes Arcia, Gray and Bell starting isn’t particularly appealing. . None of these three are part of the future, none provide any meaningful value right now and none of them make we want to drive 4 hours to watch a home game. If anyone can explain the philosophy of this front office I would love to hear the strategy behind this roster construction….

Your not alone !!!

Agreed, this isn't a contender for anything, giving at bats to Bell, Tristan Gray and Orlando Arcia. Carrying both Gray and Arcia makes zero sense for player development. This defensive alignment  is awful.

Watching if Caratini again  if its a close game with a runner on 1st like last night , Knowing Rodgers he better anyway ,  he kept calling fastballs ??  Taylor no longer is a hard thrower ,  Fastball is his maybe 3rd best pitch,  still think  Rodgers is okay ,  but the pitch calling ??  everyone says Caratini is a better defensive catcher ,   maybe but WHY DIDNT GET TO 3RD ON THAT ??????

Rogers could shake him off. What a pitcher decides to throw is up to him. Caratini leaves a lot to be desired, but the pitcher throwing a meatball is never on the catcher.

Arcia is hitting great right now, and has been in St Paul. At least someone is hitting. Get it while it’s hot.

This is bad!!! Last nights loss is hanging over them! We need to have 6-1 type week upcoming to get over .500

If we had ten games against the Angels Tigers and Rockies I bet we'd win six.

More about defense and alignment with the group on the field today. Don't like Larnach in the field at all, he's a DH type.

Shelton should probably decide who his best 2-3 relievers are and be using them at the end of a close game. Rodgers isn’t one of them. We are a 1/3 into the season, it’s time to decide on a closer, maybe two. At this point Banda clearly is better than Rodgers and Gomez has looked serviceable.

Rogers could shake him off.  and should  but ask one and 99% say the catcher has the feel of the situation  even more with late inning relievers,,  Meat ya - always on the Pitcher
