None of these three are part of the future, none provide any meaningful value right now and none of them make we want to drive 4 hours to watch a home game. If anyone can explain the philosophy of this front office I would love to hear the strategy behind this roster construction…. Your not alone !!! Peter 1

Agreed, this isn't a contender for anything, giving at bats to Bell, Tristan Gray and Orlando Arcia. Carrying both Gray and Arcia makes zero sense for player development. This defensive alignment is awful. Hunter4848 1

Taylor no longer is a hard thrower , Fastball is his maybe 3rd best pitch, still think Rodgers is okay , but the pitch calling ?? everyone says Caratini is a better defensive catcher , maybe but WHY DIDNT GET TO 3RD ON THAT ?????? Rogers could shake him off. What a pitcher decides to throw is up to him. Caratini leaves a lot to be desired, but the pitcher throwing a meatball is never on the catcher. Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Nothing I hate more than people making excuses for ballplayer errors. “Not used to playing here”. What, is the sun different in Pittsburgh? h2oface 1

More about defense and alignment with the group on the field today. Don't like Larnach in the field at all, he's a DH type.

Shelton should probably decide who his best 2-3 relievers are and be using them at the end of a close game. Rodgers isn’t one of them. We are a 1/3 into the season, it’s time to decide on a closer, maybe two. At this point Banda clearly is better than Rodgers and Gomez has looked serviceable. HarmonK03, Blyleven2011 and jaimedude 3

jaimedude Verified Member Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Every time a Twins defender makes an egregious error, games turn to complete S. Ober isn't pitching well either.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted May 30 Posted May 30 Unlike Bailey Ober? Has this whoever he is been watching all season?
