jaimedude Verified Member Posted April 19 Posted April 19 What are the predictions on bringing up dome of the triple AAA guys? Culpepper, Hernandez, Gonzalez, Walker Jenkins, Roden, Prirlepp? I mean you see the bad defense this weekend, maybe Maybe May, but why keep losing games with the same old players. Boring baseball wuth bad defense and lack of clutch hitting.

I'm not saying all at once, but if your gonna lose games like this weekend, might at well do it developing talent for the next competitive cycle.

The Brooks Lee experiment at SS is a disaster. He is tool big/slow and has no range. He needs to either play 3rd or 1st. Bring the kid up from AAA and let him take over at short. Outman needs to go along with the entire pen. Might as well just play the kids and start over. RpR and Danchat 1 1

Boring baseball wuth bad defense and lack of clutch hitting. I am not opposed to change. The soft spots on the team are apparent to most everyone. That said, it isn't as simple as "bring up the kids". There has to be a place to play. It would appear shortstop would be available after watching Lee flail I don't know if Culpepper is better or if he's ready, but it probably would be worth the risk. The position for Jenkins, Gonzalez, and Rodriguez would be corner outfield, and that's a bit more complicated. Larnach has hit well, so has Martin and to be honest, neither Jenkins or Gonzalez has done close to enough to show they can help the team. Rodriguez for Wallner and/or Roden for Outman look like moves to be made, but it looks like Roden is injured. ashbury, glunn and Bangkok Twins Fan 3

You made some good points but Rodriguez for Wallner could easily be, Rodriguez for another Wallner when he faces Big League pitching and has high K rate in the minors.

Yup, E-Rod will strike out, probably a lot, but he can run and field better than Wallner. Wallner’s last demotion turned him around, so maybe try it again? Danchat and glunn 2
