Sounds wonderfully simple but you don’t just walk down a street and catch a little inflammation.  Shouldn’t there be more to it? One would think you would find it useful diagnosing the cause.

Repetitive motions typically cause these type of injuries/flare ups.  Who knows what caused this flare up, but  little twist or turn at the wrong time can lead to inflammation.  That's why routines are so important.  Good news is the MRI revealed no structural damage.

Naw... Just Lopez, Ryan, Jeffers, and Buxton during the off season with a full, instead of half arsed,  commitment to the inevitable rebuild...

You know... before we lose the opportunity to get peak value because of .... (checks notes)... oh never mind....

Sure. Trade the best and keep the mediocre. Always a recipe for getting worse, not better. Every time. Over and over.

Do you ever ask yourself why the most successful teams outside the top 5 or 6 in revenue follow this practice you condemn.  I doubt you are unaware of what the Cardinals did this year or how Houston built their team or more recently the Cubs and Red Sox.  Are you unaware of the myriad of trades the Guardians, Brewers, and Rays have made over the past couple of decades that have been a huge contribution to their success, or do you just choose to ignore the many examples that don't line up with you thinking?

There were quite a few examples this off-season.  The Cardinals traded Donovan, Contreras, and Arenado, not to mention they are paying gray $20M to pitch for another team and they traded two very good position players.  Does this prompt you consider your position or do you just assume you have a better understanding of running a team that the entire Cardinals front office?  The Brewers traded Peralta and the nationals traded Gore.  The Ray's, Guardians, and Brewers, make this type of trade frequently.  Are all of these teams incompetent?  I am curious how you interpret their actions.  What is it you understand they don't?

Ryan, Buxton, Jeffers and Lopez will not be part of the next Contending Team from the Twins. We should get young talent for them that align with our next window.

The past window failed... plain and simple

I understand that is the in vogue way to handle it now. They certainly will not be part of the next contending team if they are traded for hope and dreams that most won’t ever make it to the show. Their value for your method is best now at the trade deadline  Funny how Jeffers is being paid less than Caratini, but Jeffers is too expensive but Caratini is not, eh? There is always a surprise team every year.
