I wonder what the season record HR total for a Twins 2B is? I cannot recall a Twins 2B hitting 20 Jacks. Dozier may be on pace.

(Edit: for the team record for 2B HR's - not 20HR's)

It appears that Dozier is putting the team on his back today and carrying them towards victory.

GLORM!!!

Did you sleep well Glorm?

Now you Type -- No I made a few mistakes.

I know it's sad, but Carew's 14 in '75 is probably the high water mark.

Dozier will take down Carew and tell his Grand Kids about.

If that is true, then Dozier appears to be on track for the record.

Sad indeed. Dozier is definitely on the path to being a contender for the record.

Tim Teufel also had 14 in 1985.

Indeed he did.

Also, 1 of Carew's in '75 came as a first baseman. I guess that makes Tim the champion.

Little Suzi Carew,

And then Little Suzi says, "grampy's batting average was higher than your on-base percentage. Take that!"

Suzi: "Sorry, couldn't read your note. The glare from gramp's hall of fame plaque got in my eyes."

I've said this before, but I'll say it again: I badly overrated Escobar based on the first few weeks of the season.
