Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted July 16, 2025 Posted July 16, 2025 There should be a majority of owners who can push for real change in the upcoming CBA negotiations. But every team in the upper right quadrant will do everything in their power to keep status quo. Brock Beauchamp, TheLeviathan and Parfigliano 3

One of them will need to defect. TheLeviathan 1

As long as Texas, Boston, and the Blue Jays don’t pretend to be something they’re not, I feel good about real changes happening in this league. The Cubs cry poor every season so I’m not worried about them.

Philly might get jealous of the monopoly money the Mets toss around too. A winning argument doesn't mean those teams can't still have an advantage, just that we cap how enormous that advantage is. I think they can get to 24, but it's going to be a war.
