Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Hey Chief... What kind of gas milage does that 2010 M1 Abrams that you drive get?
Gibby Provisional Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 This is set up perfectly for a big inning.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I'm getting to the point with my car that I'm starting t get weary of the manual transmission but I've never owned an automatic.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 08 Corvette. Darn Nice Car... You obviously don't like passengers behind you.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I'm getting to the point with my car that I'm starting t get weary of the manual transmission but I've never owned an automatic. I have an auto stick and I'm still not sure what they are all about?
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I have an auto stick and I'm still not sure what they are all about?A couple times on this trip I tried to push on the clutch and reached for that auto shift stick. Good thing I caught myself before shifting. That would NOT have been good.

snepp Verified Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 So, I hear there's a baseball game on today? Which channel? I can't find it.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I'm getting to the point with my car that I'm starting t get weary of the manual transmission but I've never owned an automatic. That's a good thing.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Okay, that's one way to close the score gap.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Morneau Isn't that his 3rd home run in the last week or so? Nice to see the power coming back... Might actually have some value yet.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 That's a good thing.Which? Getting weary of it or never owning anything but?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I'm getting to the point with my car that I'm starting t get weary of the manual transmission but I've never owned an automatic. Automatics are easy to learn.

Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Okay that right there was worth sticking it out. CANO!
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Which? Getting weary of it or never owning anything but? never owning anything but.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I may be completely wrong, but I can't stop thinking that now would be a good time to replace Gardy.
snepp Verified Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 I may be completely wrong, but I can't stop thinking that now would be a good time to replace Gardy. You mean literally right now, at 3 PM central time? I'm game.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 never owning anything but.Dad had me out there when I was 15 and said 'Everyone should know how to drive a stick whether or not it's what you drive.' Even though I got my license using my mom's car (an automatic) driving a stick was just too much fun and I've never had anything else. But with my recent foot issues and driving in lots of slo-go traffic, it's gotten tiring. But since I'm years away from a new car no need t make that choice yet.
Chance Provisional Member Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Kohl Stewart GCL start- 2 innings 2 hits 1 run 0 walks and 2 strikeouts. Call him up!
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 You mean literally right now, at 3 PM central time? I'm game. Yes, but I would also be OK if they waited until this game is over. It just seems to me that a change in leadership might do a lot of good, both in the short run and the long run. Again, I am likely wrong, but my sense is that of the Twins had traded managers with the Yankees last week, the sweep could have gone the other way.

They got me and my sister a beater car that was a stick shift and forced us to learn it... Hated it at the time. My cars have all been manual since, though the big vehicle is an automatic.
