All I'll add to this thread is that struggling team or not, it is a damn fine day to go to a baseball game.

I'm torn. Do I watch the game or do I try and pack the car for the 2-day drive back to Ft Myers. Keep in mind there is more stuff than will fit in the car and my 84-yr old mom thinks there will be a way because she doesn't want to ship anything that is too heavy or too oddly shaped. There are 4 lamps and lots of heavy things. Yeah, I'll take that root canal job without anesthesia. But realistically I'll watch the game then try and pack the car.

Time to trade the car in for a truck

It's actually a small SUV (Chevy Equinox)

How are they... My Son is looking at an SUV... He's going to go Grand Cherokee.

Well at least we won't have to wait until the end of the game for the implosion.

Just look at that lineup... How can they be stopped?

They are relentless.

Gibson is young enough, he probably doesn't know he's supposed to crap his pants against the Yankees... unfortunately, the bullpen does.

Young enough? He's 25. Also he's doing a heck of a job carrying on Twins tradition right now.

They play the Jays next. Aren't they about 0-25 against them the last few years?

14-38 from 2006-2012

(Worse than their record against the Spank-mees over that time period).

So much for that theory.

Look at it this way. By the all star break, Rodon might be a possibility for next year's draft.

You sound Optimistic!!!

If only there were a place to state the things I'd rather have done to me than watch the Yankees squash the Twins again.

It's nice. Drives well. This one is loaded and all the features are nice. And it still is getting decent gas mileage (around 30?)

Oh well, it's a long season.

Thats right!!! It's a marathon... Not a sprint... Plenty of time to stop and smell the flowers... And occasionally get poisoned by those flowers.

The Grand Cherokee ain't gonna get that kinda gas mileage.
