mark allen Verified Member Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 call up Adams and give him a chance to see what he is capable of and hope for morris or zebby to get back Mike Sixel 1
Jacksson Verified Member Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 Send him to the Mayo Clinic and have some experts check out that troublesome hip.
Whitey333 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 Great comments all. I think just give him a rest. Team isn't going anywhere year. Bring him back after all star break. Do not send him down. That could make his confidence even less if he has any left. Those death threats I think really touched off a lot of this.
TwinsDr2021 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 Lots of speculation that a couple of weeks will heal his injury/discomfort or whatever it is. If the Medical staff also believes this then he should go on the DL ASAP and then a rehab assignment to get his motion are in order. If the Medical staff says that isn't going to really fix anything and it is a offseason type of fix then it comes down to two things, set him out the rest of the year or work with to figure out a way to get back closer to the way he was. I just don't see the upside of a DL stint if he isn't actually going to get better, and I see it more of a 2 week DL but ending up being a Topa/Stewart situation where we are just hoping he returns this year.
David Maro Verified Member Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 This season is Ober!! Time to make changes bring Adams up and let him pitch. Put Bailey on the IL and then rehab him in St.Paul for a couple of starts to see if he is back. Time to be honest this team is a mess and its going to finish in 4th in the division. And can't forget a team finishing in 4th place two years in a row is keeping the manager.
