Miranda gets the call

I like it. He can be the DH if nothing else while Kirilloff plays 1B or the OF. It would be great to see him taking away at bats from Santana, Margot and Farmer. I hope he starts today. They can send Martin back down if/when the need another BP arm since they aren't gloing to play him anyway. Play Kirilloff every day at 1B or in the OF (including aginst LH pitching), cut back on using Santana (never DH him, he can't hit), and make Margot what he was always intended to be - a 2 or 3 day a week fill in for CF and a defensive replacement.

I'm inclined to make the move to drop Santana and Margot all together from the roster and allow Miranda and Martin be fixtures here.  Allow them to continue to grow with us.  Margot/Santana are wastes of money they could have used on the pitching side, especially with all the injuries to date.

You don't kill your depth this early.  Let's see if Martin and Miranda can even hit a lick before dropping the guys in front of them.
