Yeah, Brooks Lee is not making the club yet. Wouldn’t be surprised if he were the first called up, though.

Besides Vazquez, who else is on your bench?

And Paddack will be a starter. Varland likely starts in AAA and is the first called up as injury replacement. Okert needs to be added to your relievers, plus one, as they are likely to take 13 pitchers north, especially this early in the season.

You've got Brooks Lee making the club out of spring training. That might be a bit optomistic.

I wouldn't say so because brooks lee is older then when Royce Lewis started and has been really good

If Brooks Lee produces in spring training, then, why shouldn’t he make the big roster going north? He would improve the lineup defensively with him at 2nd and Julien at 1st base or DH. He has potential as a good lead off hitter.  I’m proud to be a Brooks fan and supporter.

I'm a big fan of Lee as well. And I hope he makes it tough for them to keep him off the roster. But if delaying his debut gives them another year of control, that's what will happen. They are probably justified in saying that he needs more time in AAA, even though he looks ready right now. I can't wait to see him at Target Field!!

I agree with this, and most certainly he will not be called up to be a full-time DH, even if he somehow forces his way onto the team.  I think he will be in St. Paul for at least 1 to 3 months and then will get his shot, unless there is an injury that gives him a chance earlier.

Did I miss AK on your list?  If I didn’t, where will he be?

Oh my bad but i guess technically with brooks lee and Carlos Santana we only might need him a little bit

I believe AK will make the 26 man roster out of ST as I don't think there is enough time for Lee to show he is a substantial improvement over AK (Lee's OPS is .715 vs AK's .749).  In addition Lee is not on the 40 man roster yet.  I would love to see an infield of Lewis, Correa, Lee and Julien/Santana, but I question whether that will happen in '24.  The only ways I see Lee making it to the Twins in '24 is as an injury replacement (most likely) or he is tearing the leather off the ball in SP and the Twins are having difficulty scoring runs.  JMHO
