Coach never been use to playing with a lead,   to conservative  today,  gotta straighten that out , i think he will , seems pretty adjustable

It's not like he was all that good last year.....

It is unreal to win with your third QB, the best WR in the game and your other starter at the beginning of the year, and your top two RB out..... Not thrilled with the second half, but still, in perspective, it's hard to believe.

I was thrown off by how dominant that first half was. They pulverized a top 10 defense, Dobbs was dealing and Hock was getting open at will. And the defense had another great game, Flores is squeezing about as much as he can from the roster.

The second half wasn't great, but I really can't fault the offense for falling back to earth with Hock in pain and the run game still pretty bad. Winston gave the Saints offense a boost with a couple crazy throws but also threw the game away with the picks.

Every team that has started 1-4 and made it to 6-4 in the Super Bowl Era has made the playoffs... pretty crazy to see this team go on a tear. I'm happy to be along for the ride, despite having some questions about this team long-term. One thing is pretty clear though, O'Connell is legit and I trust him making decisions at the QB position going forward.

Several on-line sports sites, noted how the Vikings offense totally disappeared in the Second Half.

I assume this was the 4 and inches early in the 3rd quarter? Yeah, keep the pedal to the metal. KOC has been way better lately, but he still isn't going for the killshots. Run up the score, not because you're bragging, but because this stuff happens regularly in the NFL when the other team has actual capable QBs.

I think this was after the FG miss, which was on 4th and 3. I didn’t hate going for it because a make would have made it a 3 score game. But apparently from now on, we’re better off not trusting GJ with anything longer than 50 yards. Which is disappointing because guys are starting to be money from over 50, more than ever before. GJ did have a few huge kicks late last season which probably won him the job for 2023.

Also, the punting wasn’t great today. Not sure why you don’t punt it out of bounds with 15 seconds left.

Yeah, I thought punting it out of bounds was a given. Why give a chance for a return? Made no sense.

Also, teams like to draft kickers, but I think a top tier punter is way more valuable. I watch some teams and they seem to always drop it inside the ten with no return all the time..
