Also, the punting wasn’t great today. Not sure why you don’t punt it out of bounds with 15 seconds left. 

I think the proper play is to have a QB/HB/WR take the snap and run to the endzone, then faff around for as many seconds and then run out of bounds and take the safety. Then you don't have to worry about a potential punt block, and the likelihood of a punt return TD on the safety punt is low as you don't need to field your full punt protection squad and can instead use more safties/LBs.

But if you are going to punt there, putting it out of bounds would be a lot more ideal.

Yeah, they got it to midfield which was the worst possible outcome
