glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Is the Hillbilly Mansion still around? And Glunn... I do feel I have to point this out: Memphis is not far from Bugtussle. The mansion was actually in Bel Air. But you are correct about Bugtussle, which was only 30 minutes away. In Bugtussle, you could buy beer at age 16 and the girls were very fast.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Tahoe is some place I've never been. Someday... The photos look stunning.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Yeah, I expect to receive a little more preferential treatment, now that you've finally made this connection. Yes, the Jethro connection makes you 10 times more interesting.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Tahoe is some place I've never been. Someday... The photos look stunning. It is beyond beautiful, and the fishing can be amazing. Also, people living on the Nevada side pay no income taxes.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Meanwhile, although I hate to interrupt, 6 SO innings from Diamond, although he didn't exactly fool anyone in the 6th.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 Do you ever go fishing for Fredo? Back to baseball, Ty Cobb had a connection to the Lake as well.

The ESPN pbp shows a comebacker to the pitcher. The last two outs might have been laced, but sometimes the well hit balls find fielders, and it's all good when the box score is finished.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 I was gonna say that the Mariners probably don't feel like playing right now but Bay just made that catch. That was a very nice catch, and he may be sore tomorrow.

Hopefully I didn't have to identify Tina Louise in response to a reference to the Howells. The other one, I figured some other horndog would've outted himself himself by now by IDing Olivia Munn, but I don't want to keep you in further suspense.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 So they want starters to pitch deeper into the game but they take Diamond out when he is sailing along? 95 pitches... I think he coulda gone one more but they might be cautious with Diamond with his arm issues.

I can't remember where I read it... But I read that Tucson ranked #1 in likely hood of being killed by a safe or anvil falling from the sky.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 This is deeper into the game. Which is about the most depressing thing I've read today.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2013 Posted June 2, 2013 So they want starters to pitch deeper into the game but they take Diamond out when he is sailing along? This seems like a good time to let Pressly get in some low pressure work. And Diamond was up to 95 pitches.
